Bunker Hill in nice shape
Fun short course, which played longer this chilly 45* morning on soft fairways & thick rough. Thanx to GN for Hot Deals, but as single I got paired with nice foreign couple (Korean); we played in 3hrs but looked for balls on every hole. The morning sun made it a tough search in the thick glistening rough. Greens are in great shape, and grounds-crew out repairing ball marks & filling divots. #18 green is under-construction, so temp green bottom of hill, which allows for lower score (I made 4 & 6 is good at the real green). Anyway, nice condition, nice people, and Thanx for great cost.
Bunker Hill
The course was fun and challenging. A couple short par 4s that can lead to trouble if you’re not accurate.
Wet fairways, ridiculous rough, cart path only on many holes and a missing 18th hole.
While it was nice to see former Cleveland Indians catcher, Ron Pruitt working at the course, the round of golf was not enjoyable. The rough was ridiculously long and thick and almost impossible to get out of. And, the fairways were overwatered so that amatuer ball-strikers suffered with fat shot after fat shot. Then to top off a bad day on difficult course they arbitrarily required cart path only on several holes and then created a temporary green on hole number 18 about 100 yards short of the regular green. Why couldn't they post that aberration on GolfNow, so that players could opt to play elsewhere and not be surprised on the last hole.
Great golf and hospitality
Been playing here a lot this year. Has some wet areas but greens and staff are Amazing! Highly recommend. Beverage girls Trinity, Gina, and Marci highlight my rounds.
The course was in good shape for all the rain they received. Hole 18 is under construction going to look real nice when finished.
Never my first choice
Had a 7:20 tee time and would expect to play in 4 hours or less. But, because they put golfers out on both sides, pace crawls to a halt on second nine. Waited on every shot on back and it took nearly 5 hours.
Conditions are always pretty darn good here. Excellent greens. Course layout can make you wish you had a helmet a couple times on each side.
Wet but still decent greens
Had a nice round, course was cart path only as we had 2 days of rain. Position course and greens actually break. Would play again
The 18th green
Course is in great shape with all new concrete paths. But here is the good news! They have completely tore out the 18th green and hill with a temp green at the bottom. The new green will finally be fair to play unlike the old green. I cant wait to play again when it is completed and grown in!
