Awesome day with my son and friends Photo submitted by VnI5ZgBDE5gUxHopU8As on 04/15/2021
Just excellent!
This track is one of my favorites. Keeps getting better every season. Fairways were well manicured lightning fast greens. Can’t wait to come back
Clubhouse Manager is rude
We had a tee time booked for this past Sunday. We had 3 adults and a 5 year old that was riding with us. We called the day before to make sure it was okay he rode along. They told us no problem at all as long as we pay for him to ride. We showed up to our tee time and before the manager could even say hello he immediately asks how old he is and then tells us no. They require kids to be 7. Two things: educated your employees if this is a rule. And don’t be rude when we tell you we spoke with your staff the day prior. We called 8 courses all around the area and not one of them had an age restriction to ride.
Bunker Hill
This course is always in great shape. The new features to the course are terrific. Greens were prestine
Fun to Play, slow pace
Course has a lot of short par fours, which makes it fun, especially for long hitters The final hole on each nine are both very challenging though. Long and tight. They continue to make improvements on the entire course in general and is a great course for all levels of golf.
Knuckles greens
Have been playing this course since 3/6 these guys have busted there butt getting this course in phenomenal shape after new cart paths installed last year pin position can be tough but u really have to play to position on green for good play. Staff has been helpful and food in restaurant is great on porch overlooking course . Fun scramble nites if u just wanna meet new people cheers Knuckles
Great Course!
This is a phenomenal public course! They fairways are forgiving, but still challenging. The greens are always well-maintained. Overall, great course and great value.
Frost ruins everything
Frost delay ruined a good day of golf. Backed up on every hole. Took 3 hours to play 9. Other than that.... I'm excited to see the course in the summer
Carts and cart paths not maintained
We have played this course in season and it is a good layout with very good greens. This was Dec 23 in Cleveland, oh so you cannot expect pristine conditions. What we did not like was the cart fees for single players. We paid for two carts for four players. One of us walked. So we needed ONE extra cart. We can understand paying $18 for the ONE extra cart. However, the charge was $10 per person or $30. This was way out of line compared to other courses. Pine Hills do not even charge for carts for single riders if they are available.
The brakes on the carts are hart to engage, or at least the one I had. The same carts are used at Manakiki and they have NO PROBLEMS. The starter seemed to suggest that I did not know how to operate the cart when we have played there multiple times.
However,, here what really upset me.
On the 17th hole I had to stop the cart on steep slope. I engaged the brake but the cart started rolling down. I could HAVE HAD A SEROUS INJURY.! When I tried to explain this to the pro shop it took them a long time to figure out what was the matter. They did refund me the $10 but I did not hear one word of apology. And I was RELUCTANT TO TAKE THE CART AT THE OUTSET AS THE BREAKS WERE NOT ENGAGING PROPOERLY.
Excellent Layout
For a late fall day, the course was in good shape. An excellent layout with multiple doglegs that required less than driver so there was a little strategy needed to play each hole. The greens were fair and didn’t have too much break. If you hit the ball well you could score.
