nice old school course
well maintained course- old school layout. a little shorter than more modern courses, but tricky little challenges presented in many case by tree. make sure you know which course you are going to (north and south course at bowling green CC at different places - and the range is only at the south course).

Nice course, great price!
First time I played here, really nice course! Like the golf carts with the GPS and the ball/club washers attached. Great value. Did not even mind driving an hour to get there. The gas carts were a little slow.

Great country course
Well-maintained golf course in a beautiful setting. Nice layout, Pace of play was a little slow but fairways and greens were in good condition. No driving range but there was a putting and chipping green to warm up a little.

Great old school course
Course is in great condition. Fairways and greens are in good shape. Fun Classic layout a few challenging holes all in all very good course and great value

Bowling Green North Review
My friends and I love making the commute to Front Royal, VA to play Bowling Green. We all travel from about 1 hour away (DC and Frederick) because we really enjoy the course and hospitality. It's a great value for your money especially if you take advantage ahead of time on the HOT DEAL option. Very open course which is nice for high handicap players, with some challenges thrown in here and there. The food is also amazing! In the summer there is a grill-master outside who provides some delicious sausages on the turn. Overall definitely recommend!

Good course; MASKS NOT WORN BY STAFF
Had a good time out here with my friend. Greens had been punched and sanded, but should heal up in a week or two. Pace of play was good considering the frost delay. The computers went down but the staff were able to find a solution to keep the pace moving...I commend them for that.
The only thing I could not understand was how NONE of the staff wore a mask. I teed off during a busy part of the day, but a busy pro shop was still not reason enough for the staff to bother wearing a mask. There were two men behind the counter helping patrons check in, and neither of them had a mask on. There was a young lady vacuuming the main entrance, and helping clean the restrooms, and she did not have a mask on. We are not finished with the pandemic but for the staff members to blatantly disregard the use of face coverings will keep me from returning any time soon. I ran into a member of the pro shop staff in the restroom after my round and he did not even have a mask on under his chin as a courtesy. I will NOT be returning soon. I simply implore the staff to be more conscious of their paying customers, and PUT A MASK ON...IT IS NOT JUST ABOUT YOU!

Punch shots ftw
On paper this course seems like it should be pretty easy but mistakes can pay big. Get ready for lots of trees and punch shots. Feels shorter and crampt at points but man is it fun. Carts are BOSS until they glitch and you have to reverse. Course in great condition

great course
course was recently aerated so the greens were a bit bumpy and slow. It is just one of those things with Spring golf. Beautiful day and a very good pace of play. A great value for the money.
