Alway a good value
Not my first time playing the course. Excellent value. Carts are new but they do track you by GPS. if you stray you get a warning or, worse, you get to back the cart up to the area they only want you driving on. Played on a friday in the hottest day of the year. So interpret that to an empty course. Course was in good shape. We had plenty of time to look for our balls. Course is layed out on rolling hills near Front Royal. Staff was very friendly.

Nice course
I enjoyed my 18 holes here. I played the north course. They have a person offering drinks and stuff coming around every so often. The course was in great condition, and the fairways and greens super green. I would definitely play here again

Great Course and Friendly Staff
If you’re willing to drive a ways from DC (which you should) then I definitely recommend this course. It’s very well maintained with great carts (GPS, Bluetooth, plush seats) and the course plays really well whether you’re a scratch golfer or high handicap. The pace of play was fantastic as I had a tee time right between the end and start of two leagues.

Course was good but pace was extremely slow. Took 4 1/2 hours compared to 2 1/2 hours on the Bowling Green South course last week. The North Course seems to be always slower than the South Course..

Really Enjoyable Day....
Nice course. The cart path needs some work. Wasn't too busy but it was a Friday not Saturday or Sunday. Fairways were narrow. But had a great day. The rough was pretty deep and difficult for a novice like me to hit out of. You can't beat the scenery. Beautiful car ride just to get there. Also, there is no driving range, so make time to go to the "south" course (about half a mile away) to get that in before your tee time. We backed up some on the back nine but it wasn't horrible.

Nice course on a busy day
Had the chance to play 9 hole on a busy day, before a wedding, and found the course to be in good shape. The greens, tees, and fairways were all looking good. The course was crowded but we were able to play 9 holes in 2 hours with no problems. I look forward to returning and playing all 18 holes.
