Old school course; new day gouging
I have played Indian Creek several times over the years and have been fairly satisfied. In the past, you had to play with a member (same now) & the member paid the green fees; whatever arrangements your made later was up to you. Now; the pro shop charges $75 (+$5 if you want range balls); far higher than any course in the area (I wonder if it is beca;use the other course we could play, King Carter, is closed, thanks to Jimmy Carter?),anyway, the historically high green fees, together with the surliness of the staff, will prompt me to never play the course again.
Also, the cours was in lousy condition; at least 25 % of the greens were sub standard and some were even closed, with a flag stick and cup in the end of the fairway. Abolutely a rip off; I will never play the course again!
