Lake Land Village Golf Course - Generation I & II Course
About
LakeLand Village in Allyn, Wash. offers a 27-hole layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. It's a PGA-caliber golf course that is player friendly but still has plenty of challenges in store. The golf course is divided into three nine-hole layouts that are played in 18-hole combinations. The nines are referred to as Generation I, II, and III. Gen I and Gen II are the shorter of the three layouts and have a classic design. The undulating greens are known for being some of the best in the state, offering smooth surfaces that putt fast and true. In addition to keen short-game skills, accuracy is key on this golf course since several of the fairways are fairly narrow and there are out-of-bounds and water hazards throughout.

Golfer Reviews
Fun course
We use Golf Now Hot Deals quite often to play this course. It is a fun
Course with friendly staff
Challenging layout
Played GenII and GenIII. Course is in excellent condition and the greens are very fast, but also very true. It can be on the tight side if you spray your shots, since most fairways are tree lined. I enjoyed the course and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Blue collar executive course
New management, trying to get the course back in shape. Mostly par 3’s. Good place to practice your irons and chipping. Very slow greens. No fairway grass to speak of. A lot of beginners, some let you play through some don’t. No tee time necessary. Looking forward to course improvements.
Hello, Althauser. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give us another try in the near future.
Great day off golf!
Quite enjoyable day of golf. I have played this course maybe 4-5 times...it is not generally too busy and in good shape overall. Tees and greens are fine... fairways can be a bit dry in places... fun round...I will be back.
Quick greens
Out in the woods with some old massive stumps from yesteryears logging but surrounded by homes, this is a nice place to spend a day. I’ve played four times in the last week, walking each day. It’s good exercise and challenging golf. The long putts are killing me, can’t get the speed right on these sloping greens although they are in great shape. The tees and fairways are about average, the bunkers have good sand in them and are raked up soft on a regular basis. The negative points would be the usual side hill dry areas that all courses struggle with in summer and the not so usual plan to leave large areas of fairway and near green in a ‘ground under repair’ state with painted lines around them. But they haven’t put any effort into filling the very numerous small holes and low spots in these GUR areas in the three years I have been playing here. It is rarely crowded here and the staff is great. One day the kitchen was having a BLT lunch special and you could smell bacon three holes from the clubhouse, I was drooling on my ball. At present Generation 1 has been plugged and all rounds are Gen 2 & 3.
Hi 98azelda! Thank you so much for leaving us with your feedback. We value our customer experience, so your review is important to us. We will make note and we hope to see you back!
Great day , good weather excellent golf!
Course was in great condition, minor repairs on the fairways, note.. , (Bunkers need to be raked on the weekends! )... our only negative, footprints and hard pan.... but well worth the drive ! B+
Fast greens and fast pace of play
Course was in awesome condition and the greens were fantastic, fast and smooth. Pace of play was not an issue, just a great day and will certainly be back to play again.
Gen 2 and 3 courses
Fun course great shape and friendly staff. Only complaint, golf now price 24$ (great) for 18 holes 2 people, then they screw you with 32$ (screwed) cart fee.
Worth the drive
I enjoyed playing here. Greens and fairways were in excellent shape. My only complaint was that the grass on the tee box was a little long, on some holes almost as long as my tee. Started my front 9 on Gen 2 and finished on Gen 3. Narrow fairways with houses packed in on both sides on most holes. This course will challenge you to leave the driver in the bag and pick another club. You'll probably lose a lot of golf balls if you're not a straight hitter. Worth drive to play here.
Lakeland Village: A Real Gem!
I had not played Lakeland Village for many years. My golfing partner and I were looking for an inexpensive alternative to our other, regular courses. I suggested Lakeland Village and was very impressed with the 2 courses we played (Gen II & Gen III). We enjoyed ourselves so much that we are planing on playing there at least once a week!
Thank you for reviewing us. We see you rated the course 3-stars and are interested in learning what we can do to improve before your next round. Feel free to comment on this review or reach out to the team in the golf shop. We always appreciate the feedback. Thank you for playing Generation I & II at Lake Land Village Golf Course, and we hope to see you again soon.
Pro like fast
This is the second time I have played the course. The fairways are pretty generous but the housing development is not guarded well by trees or nets so.wayward shots can hit homes. Many undulations in fairway that could cause bad lies but they had marked by ground under repair for a free drop. Thank you staff. The greens were receptive to approach shots with loft. Once on green the greens were lightening fast. All day was a struggle to find touch on the greens.. Not saying this was bad just a challenge to put on a pro like fast green. The putts rolled perfectly true. Club house food and beverage could use an upgrade..
NEW MANAGEMENT
I've been playing here for about 4 years now and the course is in much better condition. Most of the improvements appear in the vicinity of the clubhouse. My only issue is that area under repair throughout the course, and especially on Generation 1 seem to just be painted under repair and not actually being repaired. Gen 1 has several areas of pot holes down the fairway, especially on the 3 hole par 5. Price on GolfNow is inconsistent, ai paid $13.00 then two days later the same time and date was $29.00. The nicest thing is Lakeland Village does have tee time Hot Deals after 12:00 so you can use the PromCodes you earn from GolfNow. GolfNow needs to change the after 12:00 tee times for use of earned Promocodes.
Will be back
First time playing here. I heard it was tight but I thought there was ample room on the longer holes. Narrower on the shorter holes. Very well planned course. Greens were in excellent condition rolling true and fast.
Best greens around. Comparable to Tacoma Golf and Country Club.
