Lake Land Village Golf Course - Generation I & II Course
About
LakeLand Village in Allyn, Wash. offers a 27-hole layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. It's a PGA-caliber golf course that is player friendly but still has plenty of challenges in store. The golf course is divided into three nine-hole layouts that are played in 18-hole combinations. The nines are referred to as Generation I, II, and III. Gen I and Gen II are the shorter of the three layouts and have a classic design. The undulating greens are known for being some of the best in the state, offering smooth surfaces that putt fast and true. In addition to keen short-game skills, accuracy is key on this golf course since several of the fairways are fairly narrow and there are out-of-bounds and water hazards throughout.

Golfer Reviews
Good to be playing
Just returned to golf after being off a while from foot surgery. Course conditions were excellent except for the aeration of the greens but what can you do about that?
But by having my foot recuperating I was forced to rent a cart. I was blown away that the rental for 18 holes was $16.00! Now I was figuring the normal $10 fee but when the cart costs one and a half times as much as the hot deal price that's crazy! No wonder there are so many of them sitting there all the time.
It took a couple of holes to get over the sticker shock, then it was a good day of golf.
A excellent golf Facility
A27 hole golf course that is well maintained. Great price with Golf Now but reasonable with Golf Now. Staff could not have been nicer. Snacks good at the turn also, somewhat limited but I was there for golf. Driving Range clean and neat, medium bucket 6 bucks you can't beat the price. My recommendation is go to Lakeland and play, you will e joy yourself.
A very fun course.
Fun course in very good condition considering the harsh conditions we have had Very friendly staff.
Great Winter Golf
The day was an overcast 45 degree January day. Lakeland Village was in great shape. With it being winter they had the white tees pushed up a bit, but not as far as the normal red tees. The fairways were dry except for a two of holes (#11 and #12). My playing partner and I didn't have a plugged ball in the 18 holes. We were often surprised with the bounce and roll of our drives. The greens were immaculate. The putting surfaces were smooth and a rich color of green. Best of all it was a GolfNow Hot Deal for $10 plus fees.
Lakeland 4
I played a much better game than the Seahawks , on this Saturday, the course was in great shape! other than a two some in front of us we were the only ones on the course ! excellent greens , awonderful pace of play and a well maintain course 4.9 stars!
Aeration Alert
This is a 3 nine hole layout referred to as Generations. I played Gens 3 & 1 in that order. Gen 1 was aerated about a week ago and was still rather bumpy. It is also the shortest and tightest of the three generations. Generation 3 had not been aerated yet and was in great shape. I expect it will be punched and aeraaerated in the next week or two. They just layer the sand on Gen 2s greens today so it is closed. The course will be iffy for the next couple weeks as the green heal. Once done, the greens will be great as they usually are, just be patient. This is a nice course and the prices are great. The club house staff are awesome and very accommodating to locals and guests.
Lady Club tournament
very slow play did not tell us about lady's tournament last group went before us was late playing no one in front of them for 6 holes very slow play play so bad other players jumping holes no Marshals
Labor day Weekend Fun
I've been playing Lakeland Village Golf Courses for about four years now. The staff, particularly Karen at the front desk is awesome. The course consists of three 9 hole options or Generations. Gen 2 & 3 are by far the better two. The greens are almost always in excellent shape and this weekend was no different. The only downside is there are numerous areas that are extremely dry and without grass near the greens. Some so bad that cracks inches wide and deep. Need to water when the rain stops. Pace of play can vary, Tuesday and Wednesday are club days in the morning. On average though you can get through in about 31/2 to 4 hours. I walk to keep behind the groups ahead. Practice green is very nice but the driving range is short. I can easily but a 5 iron into the end trees.
