Lake Land Village Golf Course - Generation I & II Course
About
LakeLand Village in Allyn, Wash. offers a 27-hole layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. It's a PGA-caliber golf course that is player friendly but still has plenty of challenges in store. The golf course is divided into three nine-hole layouts that are played in 18-hole combinations. The nines are referred to as Generation I, II, and III. Gen I and Gen II are the shorter of the three layouts and have a classic design. The undulating greens are known for being some of the best in the state, offering smooth surfaces that putt fast and true. In addition to keen short-game skills, accuracy is key on this golf course since several of the fairways are fairly narrow and there are out-of-bounds and water hazards throughout.

Excellent course
I have never played this course until 3 weeks ago and since then I've played it 3 times . Great course and very friendly staff.
Very nice course
Had a great time course in great shape I walked wish I had rented cart.
lots of fun
Plenty of trouble to challenge you. Played a full course in 4 hours on a Saturday what a great deal
fairways to putting greens in great shape . a nice walk in the woods.
Lakeland Village is a nice place to play
This course has 27 holes and I played what they call Generation II and III, which is their normal 18 hole route. The course was in spectacular shape, especially the greens, and as a bonus the neighborhood was in full spring peak bloom. The course routes through a (mostly) retirement community, so OB is close on many holes, sometimes both sides and in back. If you shy away from the OB on one side, there is water or trees awaiting you on the other side. People had their windows open, so there was some noise. Overall pace of play was satisfactory, but that's because I played the first 6 holes in about 50 minutes and the next 12 in over 3 hours! I caught up to the pack of retired couple foursomes that make up the majority of the golfers here. Only thing they can improve is having the water fountains on the course actually provide water. Overall a nice place to play and a great value through the golfnow hot deal I got.
This course has an interesting layout.
An enjoyable course to play. It is nicely maintained with a beautiful setting.
great but slow
Course was in great shape!.... greens were very smooth but extremely slow!!!
Think rain and the fact they were punched several weeks ago may be factor.. just not cut to lowest height for season.
Should be perfect in a couple weeks
NEW FAVORITE
First time out here, had mixed expectaions, my hopes were based mainly on the comments made on this site. From the moment we drove into community, everything just kept getting better. The gal at the counter, I'm sorry, I forgot you're name, was super nice and friendly. We were a twosome and able to get out a little early in front of a couple of groups and play unfettered the entire day, felt like we were only people out on the course. Benefits of coming out on a Monday I'm sure. There wasn't one hole that I thought was a dud. Considering time of year and previous rains, there wasn't one soggy place on the fairways. Greens were surprisingly firm and hardly any ball marks, which impressed me greatly. Summer time is only going to make them better.Throw out any pre-conceived notions you might have, do yourself a favor and go out and play. This is easily, my new favorite course in the area.
This course has its challenges
The greens at Lakeland Village course are fast and sometimes tricky. The fairways are great; the rough is a tad long. Very nice staff and situation.
this course is nice looking
We had a great time, its a good walk and the drive isn't very far from Poulsbo
nice course
Always in great shape, play right along without waiting.
Pleasant surprise
We played numbers 3 and 2. The course was in great shape, soft greens and standard pace of play. Challenging narrow fairways with mature fir trees make hype course more difficult than it appears. Plenty of vertical with some blind shots and cross slopes on the fairways. Course is in the middle of a quiet community. Would recommend this course.
"a poor round with good friend's"
a great round with a bad score!, fairway's & green's were in great shape, only 1 temp green, with a "soup-bowl' for a cup! my first expierence with a oversized cup! I would recomend the drive to my fellow golfer's! Well worth the green's fee's & drive! a top 100 !
"a poor round, with good friend's"
"nicely kept fairway's, putting green's were also nice. The course is in great shape for this time of the year, play's long on the par 5's... only 1 temp green, with a "oversized 'cheater cup"... 8" ...? my first time playing with a cup this size. Overall a great round, with a bad score!
Great course
Only two bad things, all the greens were extremely airorated and made putting extremely difficult and the fairways were really wet at 12:00pm with dew and it was a sunny day.
Hidden Gem
This is a beautiful course, I've played several times and always enjoyed the experience. Very challenging with lots of elevation change. Greens were in great condition, pin positions were borderline devilish. The only negative is that there is no water on the course, and no beverage service. On a hot day, and walking as we were, it definitely detracts from the enjoyment of this wonderful facility.
Slow play but greens were great
Played Generation II and Generation III. Pace of play bogged down quickly, and no staff was to be seen. The greens were in great shape, the best condition I have experienced them to be.
The value, at $14 for the round, was great.
we always enjoy playing her.
It's challenging without be over the top difficult; pleasant surroundings, nice layout.
No Marshal's very slow play.
There were no Marshal and members did not move very fast and treated people other then members lake they did not want any outsiders playing. with no one watching members just started any ware and cut in on nonmember's as if they can do anything they wanted.
