Lake Land Village Golf Course - Generation I & II Course

Played here for the first time today based on the reviews, and I'm glad I did. The course is definitely walkable - without anyone in front of me, I got through Gen II and Gen III in just over 3 hours. As one reviewer stated, there is a lack of signage directing you to some of the holes - Nothing that a glance at the back of the scorecard couldn't fix, however. As someone that is just getting back into golf, I found the experience humbling, but I enjoyed every minute of it!

Course was in great shape, and the greens rolled true. Well worth the drive from Gig Harbor. I'm looking forward to playing the course again!

The course was perfect, the weather was perfect and the pace was perfect... The score was not so perfect.

There needs to be better signage directing golfers to the next hole. On several holes, we had no idea which way to go. Thanks to a man walking who pointed to the entrance which was to the right and down the street.

The course was in great shape and we will be back again

This is a very charming layout. It winds through the woods with lovely landscaped homes along the way.

It was only a 45 minute drive from Gig Harbor. Was paired up with some very friendly golfers and we all had a wonderful day.

Played Gen1 with my daughter. Nice walking course, greens on par with Gen2 and 3.

Good value. If your looking for an above average course play Gen2 and 3. They typically put you on Gen1 if you are only playing 9.

Played all three nines. Recommend the Gen III and II combo for the best golf. The Gen I layout is suited for beginning golfers. Saw one five-some on the Gen I, all beginners, and they let us play through.

Pleasantly surprised! I expected a tight little course crammed in between homes. Very scenic, decent shape and an easy walk. I'll be back!

This course is in amazing shape. Especially the greens. They are the best I have played on in Washington State. Nice layout but not too challenging. Green fees are reasonable but cart pricing is a little high.

worth the drive

For all the times I've played Trophy, McCormick, and Gold Mtn this one is close to me too but have never played it. I guess I thought it was executive course or only 9 holes due to GN profile. But once I realized in was full 27 and $10 GN deal I had to play. And what a pleasant surprise. I am sure it looks a little better in the spring and fall for being more green but it has been a hot summer so lots of brown spots. But the greens here are in fabulous shape and TRICKY. Not very big either so accuracy on approach shots will be required. I played the whites and was paired with 3 others so the round was longer than I am use to or like. And we weren't chasing anyone either. So the 4.5 hr round is the only drawback for review. A single we let through just flew past us an out of sight so I'm sure the course plays faster. In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger --- I'll be back!

This course is a great local golf course and has challenging holes for any level of golfer.

Paid $13 with golf now fee to play this course on a sunny Friday afternoon . Course has a nice layout and is in good condition. The pace of play is pretty good, the only downside is the lack of a Marshall. We had people who live on the course coming out and jumping onto the course in front of us to get in a couple of holes. I called the pro shop and they felt like it wasn't an issue since the course was open.

We rode in a cart and I golfed fairly well for me. Sun and clouds made it a perfect day.

I have thought about playing this course before but never did until the other day and I must say this course is very nice kind a wish I could play 36 holes due them having 3 9 hole courses maybe next time

Played behind a tournament with another single, course was ok, homes on every hole. I liked the undulating greens. A couple were diseased. Started on gen II and finished on gen III. I will be back to play gen III again. Didn't care for gen II. Not a lot of length here only hit driver a few times and a lot of wedge shots. Would recommend if wanting to try something new but there are better courses in the area.

The course overall was pretty good but a few areas of each green needed some work. It was my first round here and aside from the proximity to houses it seemed to be a good value for the money. Gen II was in much better shape than Gen I but still a challenge. I will probably play again after the ground gets a few more weeks of spring in it to help the growth of the greens. Value package on Golf Now made it attractive to play!

We got a GolfNow deal with a cart, range balls and a soda. The driving range we used was a little short although they have another range for longer clubs. The staff was friendly and even let us off before our tee time as they had room. We got around 18 in about 3:45. That's how golf should be played.
