While LakeLand Village is known for its PGA-level, 27-hole course, it is more than just a golf facility. Situated just 45 minutes west of Tacoma, the community surrounds Anderson Lake, offering three beaches with swimming areas and stunning views of Mt. Rainier to the south. It's a great option for family retreats or just a challenging round of golf. The course is divided into three nines known as Generation I, II, and II that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Gen II and III golf course is arguably the most challenging combination. Strategically placed bunkers frame the undulating greens and the narrow fairways demand accuracy. Water hazards and out-of-bounds come into play throughout as well. The nines vary in level of difficulty, providing options for players of all skill levels.

Beautiful 27-hole course with varied terrain, its share of hazards, and amazing views of the Olympic Mountain range!

Lakeland Village is probably my favorite course in the Hood Canal/Kitsap area. I try to golf twice a week and would golf there all the time if they would open the Hot Deal tee times to single golfers!

First Time Playing

First time playing and I'm glad I did.

The course was minimally populated on a Monday. The greens were very fast. I played it in 3.5 hours but I was alone. I only had to play through one group over 18 holes. I put four hours on the survey because I was alone for the 3.5 hours.

For spring golf the course was very playable.

If you play golf in the spring, it is a plus when the lands and rolls.

Pretty Courses and the right price

Lakeland was quite a drive but with nearly 70% savings we made the drive! It has three different 9 hole courses called generation 1, 2, and 3. We played Generations 2 and 3. Generation 2 was beautiful and very fun to play. Generation 3 was much newer. It was fairly narrow and pretty straight forward.

Good, fun course.

Course has some terrain variation that makes it interesting. Some narrow fairways and trees require some accurate drives. Pin placement on several holes required accurate chips onto the green or chance a three putt. There is a bit of water to be aware of, but keep it straight and it is no worry. Good value for the money. Never have had any issues getting a tee time when requested. It is a 27 hole course, but play Generation II and III for the most challenge. Food at the course is limited to a snack bar with the basics.

Enjoyed our round. Will play here again.

Very pleasant surroundings. Some challenging lay-ups, but adds to the fun. We played in August and conditions were nearly perfect.
