Lake Land Village Golf Course - Generation II & III Course
About
While LakeLand Village is known for its PGA-level, 27-hole course, it is more than just a golf facility. Situated just 45 minutes west of Tacoma, the community surrounds Anderson Lake, offering three beaches with swimming areas and stunning views of Mt. Rainier to the south. It's a great option for family retreats or just a challenging round of golf. The course is divided into three nines known as Generation I, II, and II that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Gen II and III golf course is arguably the most challenging combination. Strategically placed bunkers frame the undulating greens and the narrow fairways demand accuracy. Water hazards and out-of-bounds come into play throughout as well. The nines vary in level of difficulty, providing options for players of all skill levels.

Some greens were a bit rough due to obvious water issues …
Great place - great pace of play 4 hours 18 holes …
Great Value
We had poor conditions just due to a ton of rain the day before after a long drought, but it's a fun layout and seems to be kept in good shape. Well worth the time when a hot deal is available.
Nice afternoon for golf
I zipped around the course in 3 hours. The golf course is in excellent shape. My only warning is to bring your own group if you want to play with others. Sometimes there are no playing partners around which is okay by me.
Desert 🌵 in Allen
Dry conditions, fun course, needs some greens keeping , always a pleasure
Fun Course
First time playing, really enjoyed it, the layout was great, the surrounding neighborhood was very nice, staff was friendly. Mostly fairly straight open fairways, but there is some elevation changes and some dog legs. Overall a fun and not too chalenging course
A great course
Dry July, great round ! Needs water !!!! I’d recommend this course!
Nice fast paced game of golf
Everything was as usual very nice. My only warning to future golfers is there often is no one there to join up with. I played as a single ahead of the women’s club and zipped around in less than 3 hours. It was enjoyable and I got in a little extra practice, but needless to say not a very social round of golf.
Very enjoyable course
We had about an hour drive but worth it. The front nine is excellent. The back nine has a lot of fairways lined with houses which I don’t typically enjoy to play. There are some great par 3 and par 5’s. Pace of play was excellent on a Saturday. I recommend this course.
Nice Course
Greens are VERY fast. Course overall is well maintained. Can be narrow in places. Enjoyed it.
Great morning round!
Course was in great condition and Jared was helpful and courteous.
I keep coming back
Do you like fun? Take my word it can be had here. True greens. Fun hole layouts mixed with some real challengers. Drying out nicely from winter. 3 Course options. Aqua range. Pleasant and clean cut staff while we were there. Looks like they have a bistro down from the clubhouse and some fun local bars at the bottom of the hill. It’s my new home track.
Champion quality for municipal money!!
Folks! If you have ever hesitated to make a wiggle over to this course you’re missing out. 4 tee boxes plus obvious tipped out boxes create a length for all caliber of players. You’re penalized for terrible shots, the golf gods reward or punish ok shots, and good shots yield pars and birdie looks while the greens roll true and provide just enough nuance. Tee to green is the test here. Once you’re on the greens the putts roll true. Play your yardage to the middle / back and spin the ball back or stop it dead! Do not underestimate the false fronts, club up don’t be a hero. Enjoy the round!!
