Lake Land Village Golf Course - Generation II & III Course
About
While LakeLand Village is known for its PGA-level, 27-hole course, it is more than just a golf facility. Situated just 45 minutes west of Tacoma, the community surrounds Anderson Lake, offering three beaches with swimming areas and stunning views of Mt. Rainier to the south. It's a great option for family retreats or just a challenging round of golf. The course is divided into three nines known as Generation I, II, and II that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Gen II and III golf course is arguably the most challenging combination. Strategically placed bunkers frame the undulating greens and the narrow fairways demand accuracy. Water hazards and out-of-bounds come into play throughout as well. The nines vary in level of difficulty, providing options for players of all skill levels.

Beautiful course, very reasonable
Staff was crazy, friendly, course was tough and a beautiful condition
Golf course
Beautiful and scenic golf course. The fairways and greens were taken care of beautifully. The layout was fine, plenty challenging for the average golfer.
My son and I had a really fun day, even if our scores weren’t up to par :)
I love this course!
This is my favorite course for the price in the state.
The only reason why I gave the low conditions for is because the greens were being aerated and it made for a rough day of putting.
If you haven't been here, definitely worth the drive.
Beautiful April Day for Golf @ Lakeland Village
A beautiful day in mid-April 2025 for golf @ Lakeland Village. The clubhouse staff was fantastic. The driving range, into the water, was unique. Would have been a perfect day, except the greens had been punched and sanded, which certainly made putting very difficult. Will return other days this year.
Nice 1st time
Nice homes, greens, tee boxes. Had a frost delay but couldn't get through to pro shop (phone was unlplugged)
From out of town so had to waste 2 hours. No bar or food just the minimum. Fun warm up area into the pond.
The 3 different 9 hole tracks can be a challenge for your GPS as the holes don't state which track you are on. Got a good deal thru GN!
Our new favorite
My father and I hit this course in a Saturday morning in January and it was a great day for us. Being in the middle winter, there were some wet spots on the fairways and a couple greens but the conditions were great and we had a great time. Highly recommend this course. It’s got some challenging holes but overall a great course.
Most entertaining golf course
Lakeland Village golf course is very challenging with its long fairways. Their greens are situated either uphill or downhill with very fast rolls. I had to take 1 club less and hit it higher to get my balls close to the hole. Otherwise, my normal club shot would have the ball roll past the hole. I had to measure and evaluate all my approach shots. I really enjoyed playing here challenging my capabilities to its fullest. My total score does not justify the fun I had pushing my limits. I would love to return and see if i can beat the course.
Awesome course
Played the ranch 18hole course with my 10 year old was great place awesome scenery staff was amazing conditions were pretty good even though it had rain recently layout is a little basic for a lot of holes but some pretty cool ones too would like to try the 9 hole they have looks like a really cool layout
Lakeland Village
Lot of greens have bare spots purse is in worst condition that I’ve seen in the past three years. Use to be in excellent condition but they have real improved some areas like the pond area near the 12 tee
love this course
This is one of our favorite courses near us. always a pleasure to play here and do recommend it to our friends and golf buddies. Just a very enjoyable well maintained beautiful course….will play again and again and again:)
