gret day, great value, great course
The course was in excellent condition. The pace of play excellent. Some fun holes 15, 16.
Simple Course
Golf course was in decent shape for having the greens punched and it being so early in the year. There weren't too many super wet spots, or ground under repair areas.
Course needs a driving range for sure.
Average course for above average price on a Monday.
Greens were good. Carts had not been cleaned from previous day and saw a broken down cart before Hole 11 just sitting there.
fun to play
Great staff, really quick play as a single, good condition for the northwest in March, and interesting holes.
This course is a real treat to play!!
Always in fantastic condition, even in the heart of winter. The only thing I have trouble with is, is having to leave...
this course is so cool and if you can hit the shots you can score.
I play this course as much as possible a very clean course great staff. great pricing. will be going back soon.
The course was Great!
The course was in great condition for the beginning of March. The staff was super friendly and the price on GOLFnow.com can't be beat.
fun course and nice staff
had a fun round needless to say playing this time of year its wet and chillie out still enjoyed the course and the staff
Better than average public course
Course conditions pretty good, good value for $$$. $15 fee is what they normally charge for the golf cart alone so in essence the golf is free.
Decent layout, but won't play again in winter
Played this for the first time yesterday and it was a swamp. A decent drainage system could make the course a gem. Good and fun layout, but the course is also setting itself up for a lawsuit if they don't put down some type of rubber (or other material) slip-proof mat for golfers walking down the enormous and very steep cart path (only choice) on hole 15. We're walking in golf cleats, on wet pavement with a push cart that wants desperately to race to the bottom of the hill - it's honestly the most dangerous path to walk on of any course I've ever played. A nasty fall is only a matter of time, if it hasn't happened already. No driving range, but they at least had one net a single golfer could hit into (off a very old mat that needs to be replaced). With as much land as the course has, a driving range would be a welcome addition to their wonderful practice putting greens.
With some work, this could be a great course but I can't recommend until some of these changes are done.
Really nice challenging course
Played this course for the first time and was an overall good experience. I found it hard to get to from Seattle. Once there, the Pro Shop was small but adequate. Carts are modern, average and well taken care of. The course is one of the nicest I have played so far. My only complaint is the speed of play. There was a wait on most of the wholes. And after taking a shot I had to dodge the players from behind balls making me feel rushed which affected my play. At some tees there were two groups waiting to tee off. Another negative was the poor food service at the turn. It was slow and inaccurate. I would have like to see the groups spread out more to allow for a more peaceful experience. Just seemed that they were trying to cram as many groups through as they could. Probably won't be back unless I get another great deal on 18 plus cart like this time.
Par 3 on the 16th hole great fun.
Cold and wet with a lot of rain. Good fun had a good time. Good food and drinks back at the 19th hole.
A must play course!
A beautiful clubhouse and restaurant await your arrival. The course is pristine and in great shape. Ponds and waterfalls are georgeous. this is a must play course.
Nice course
For a municipal course, this is a pretty nice place. Nothing special, but the course is kept in decent shape.
The elevation changes make this a fun course.
The staff at Auburn is organized and friendly. The course has some interesting elevation changes. Course management is key to low scores. Considering the large number of players per day, the course is maintained quite well. Greens are relatively small but hold approach shots well. Greens putt slowly, but true. The restaurant and bar serve good food and drink. Overall Auburn is a nice golf experience.
Great Make Over
This course has had several enhancements done to it over the past few years. Hole 16 is the showpiece of this course.
sloppy course
Course was muddy and wet even though it hasn't rained for 2 months. The greens where ok.
I love the par 3 16th hole. Tough and scenic
I played there a lot this summer and it was always a pleasure.
Great value
Great course for the money. Only complaint is pace of play. They will allow 5 somes. We had to get marshall to push the 5 some a head of us to play through.
