#16 Par three.Auburn CG Photo submitted by PaulBader on 04/03/2013
Great course condition
Great course layout, friendly staff, good pace, beautiful green maintained
Excellent Value!
Front 9 OK but back 9 very nice. # 16 Par 3 one of the best anywhere. Staff was great, I was 1st off in the am and Kevin from the maintenance staff came up and introduced himself and talked about the course, pro shop personnel very friendly also. I would recommend playing this course!!
Friendly staff, good maintained,
Hole 15 par 4, has beatiful view from T box,
hole 16 par 3, very challenging.
all green of 18 holes are great maintained.
The greens are perfect. Fun little course.
For a muni-course, Auburn is in great shape. And it plays like country club. Will definitely return this year.
Great course
Great course. Well maintained. Enough distance from the tip with nice mix of doglegs and pin placement to make it challenging. Fantastic value!
great
the Auburn course some of the best views and surroundings in the area, the course is very well maintained for a northwest public course. Beware, this course is difficult. Not only is it hilly, it has consistent par 4 and 5s. So keep that in mind when you set your tee time.
had a lot of fun
good course. enjoyed the waterfall par 3. Good shape and fun layout
This course has character
I love hitting it off the cliff on Hole number 15 and Hole # 9 a fun and challenging Par 5 over water
Great course
Beautiful course. Great shape. Just wish the pace would have been a little quicker.
Fun in the woods in Auburn
Auburn Golf Club has a very good 19th Hole probably one of the best in the area. It also has some very fun holes off cliffs and across and around water. Some of the holes are a little average and this place can get hacked up really quick. The karts are a little old however the staff are great and they have a wide range of food to munch on during and after the game. If you get a discount with GolfNow on this course I would snatch it up and give this course a try out.
Good course. Each hole offers a different challenge.
My Wife and I played in a light ,and steady rain. The course stood up quite well. The greens were in great shape no puddles or rooster tails.Standing water only on the 6th fairway. We both managed a par on the beautiful, and challenging 16th.The signature hole on the course.A highlight of our day.We enjoy the course and plan on returning often.Next time hoping for a little sun. :)
Good course, moderately challenging
Good course for any golfer. Some challenging holes and some that are easier. It makes for a great course, although it was raining all day the course looked well maintained.
Beter and better
Auburn Golf Course has seen it's ups and downs over the years but it is just getting better and better with age. I golfed after a few days of rain and the drainage is working better than ever. The greens were accepting and rolled true. They were not fast, but they never are. We did catch a group of 5 at the 15th hole, but we were in no hurry. Still finished under 4 hours.
Nice course with a few surprises
I was really impressed with this course. There are a handful of holes that are very pleasing on the eyes as well as challenging. Looking forward to playing here again!
mature muni course
This course gets lots of traffic due to pricing. The course has mature tree lined fairways, but space between the trees to play your ball back into the correct fairway. The greens are of average size with some undulation... The front nine is very pedestrian until hole 7... where water comes into play... After hole 10 the course climbs up the hillside, where you find elevation changes, and narrower fairways... for the walkers this is where they have to stop to catch their breath. The last three holes drop back down off the hillside, and the last 3 holes have water to greet your errant shots.. This is a good basic course for the average golfer. It will present enough challenges to keep you going. Sand traps come into play only on a small number of holes and they are in good condition.
Beautiful, fun, and worth every penny!
Course was in great shape, and very fun to play. Some great photo oppurtunities for out of town folks. Some interesting level changes which makes for some very fun golf. Great value for your money!
Course in great shape.
Enjoyed my round. The course was in great shape. Front nine was pretty straight forward. The back nine was more challenging. The only negative was the fairways ran side by side and you can find yourself crossing paths with golfers headed the other direction.
this is very creative course !!
this courses lay out was great !! and the water was very wll placed
The greens were nice.
I was expecting more for the money I paid. The course was pretty soggy, doesn't drain well, the pace was slow, proper golf attire doesn't exist, too many hackers, not enough people repairing their ball divots on the greens, and they haven't moved the cups in quite a while, because the grass was growing into the cups, there was no sharp edge...........too many lip-out putts.
Bargain
For $19 per person with cart this is a great deal Golf Now offered. Will definitely play this course again. Despite all the rain we've had course was in great condition, well maintained.
