About
The Riverbend Golf Complex sits along the Green River in Kent Valley, Wash. Owned and operated by the City of Kent, the complex offers a championship, 18-hole course and a mini-golf course. The 18-hole course is one of the busiest in the state with more than 65,000 rounds played on it annually. The golf course sprawls across a relatively flat landscape, making it easily walkable. Though it may not be hilly, that doesn't mean it's trouble free. There are more than 50 bunkers strategically placed throughout and three lakes come into play as well. The layout is player friendly, with enough variety to appeal to players of all skill levels.

Great course
For the money it’s a great course. Tee boxes are kinda bad and uneven and the course seems to be over watered in some areas. With the problems that I mentioned I would definitely play it again now that I know the layout.

Had a 739 tee time. Got there early and was put with 3 others at about 720. Great time, good dudes to play with. 4 hours 3 minutes is a good day at Riverbend

Heavily used coarse - well maintained
The current boom in golf has put a lot of pressure on this municipal coarse, but they have done a good job keeping up. The coarse and amenities are in great condition. The pro shop and practice range just reopened after a complete (and much needed) rebuild. The restaurant is a great place for an after round beverage and a full meal if you want it.
All in all a nice full service facility, just be aware it can get very busy.

Lots of burnt patches, tee boxes were in as bad of shape as I ha ever seen them. Greens were great per usual.

Some bad areas but overall average
The best part of the course is definitely the greens. They ran true and were at a good speed. The two neglected areas of the course was fairways that were over watered and tee boxes. These were the worst tee boxes I have played on I since I can't remember (maybe the old Wayne Golf course and the mats they used as tee boxes).

Great Value
Corse is well maintained, sand traps are in great shape, greens could use some love in some spots, overall good round. Pace of play is definitely not the best I've experienced, but far frome the worst.

Okay Course
Tee boxes were terrible very hard to find a level spot to tee off from that was not chewed up. Green speed was very slow compared to many of the courses around Seattle.
