About
The Riverbend Golf Complex sits along the Green River in Kent Valley, Wash. Owned and operated by the City of Kent, the complex offers a championship, 18-hole course and a mini-golf course. The 18-hole course is one of the busiest in the state with more than 65,000 rounds played on it annually. The golf course sprawls across a relatively flat landscape, making it easily walkable. Though it may not be hilly, that doesn't mean it's trouble free. There are more than 50 bunkers strategically placed throughout and three lakes come into play as well. The layout is player friendly, with enough variety to appeal to players of all skill levels.

Great shape!
Been playing here off and on since 2007. Greens were in the heat shape I have ever seem. Pace of play could have been a tad better but the cart girl was kept busy, no long delays. Restaurant was good.

Maintenance of the course needs to be taken care of.
This is my local course, I play here regularly, as I'm a member here. The greens are starting to come around they've been pretty shaky for the 1st few months of the season. The bunkers are horrible!! it's just mud. We're not going to play out of sand, you're going to play off of a hard pack they haven't done anything with them in months The tee boxes are in really rough shape, really rough shape! But for the price and the proximity I can live with all that. Plus, it was a 100+ degrees today, nobody here. Guys in the clubhouse are really friendly, and there is a great brewery tap house/restaurant right next door on the premises. It's a pretty good set-up. For a course that is the most heavily played in the state, you would think they might afford fixing the irrigation system problem and give the traps "just a little love". Still will play here and enjoy the day.

Cart Included?
We had a good time on a great course in very warm weather. The only glitch was they tried to charge us for the golf carts which were supposed to be included with the Golf Now purchase. (golf cart symbol) They finally caved but they say online golf does not include a cart.

Above average, but not by much...
Didn't come out of the spring in tip top shape. A few greens have some damage/bare earth. Fairways are pretty hard, good roll. Pace was 4:40 ish. Warm day no beverage cart. grrr. My local course. Member of the men's club there. so you are getting an honest opinion with knowledge of how it has been in the past.

Got a great price via GN Hot Deals. Course was in very decent condition. Finished 18 holes in 4 hours!!! Love the 19th hole at the Half Lion. We’re totally pleased with our beginning to the weekend!

Great until back nine
Pace of play on the front was fantastic with no issues, driving range closed for renovations so that was unfortunate but not the biggest deal. Once we finished 9 we walk straight to 10 and a new group has just been squeezed between two groups. Takes them 20 minutes to tee off and throughout the rest of the round that group was 20 minutes or more per hole, on the tee box on 7 different occasions with our group waiting, this group cheered with their beverage and proceeded to take 3-4 tee offs each. Our 2-2.5 hour round turned in to a 4-5 hour round.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Holiday golf, no cart girl!
Teed off at 815, and never saw a cart girl. We saw it parked by the pro shop, but it never went out. Not to mention no drinking fountains. Need to do something about the water in the bunkers, please!
