About
The Riverbend Golf Complex sits along the Green River in Kent Valley, Wash. Owned and operated by the City of Kent, the complex offers a championship, 18-hole course and a mini-golf course. The 18-hole course is one of the busiest in the state with more than 65,000 rounds played on it annually. The golf course sprawls across a relatively flat landscape, making it easily walkable. Though it may not be hilly, that doesn't mean it's trouble free. There are more than 50 bunkers strategically placed throughout and three lakes come into play as well. The layout is player friendly, with enough variety to appeal to players of all skill levels.

A mess
Several of the greens were in rough if not terrible condition.. Couldn't get to the hole without putting through a crater field.. several of the greens had debris on them that looked like it had been there for days. Cigarette butts on several greens .. left me wondering if anyone was actually taking care of course.. the bathroom on the back nine was disgusting.. I was shocked .. no coffee in the club house for an early am tee time .. guy said there was no room for a Keurig? Really? I have a hard time not enjoying golf so in general we were satisfied with the outing .. but this course is a last resort for me now..its a shame because I've played it quite a bit in the past.

Course in great shape
The faiways were firm and dry. Greens were fast but in good shape. Great public course. Only complaint would be with rough cart paths. They wouldn't stop me from playing it again though.

Riverbend Golf course
Course was in good condition. Pace was reasonable(4:20).
Bunkers were in great shape.
Greens were a little hard ,fast and slightly bumpy. Will play here again.

Good day on the course
For early in the season the course was in good shape. The fairways were fairly dry and while the greens were a work in progress they rolled okay. They are remodeling inside the pro-shop and the restaurant at the course (which has been closed for a long time).

Course was nice just had aerified the greens so not the best but it’s not golf season till after the Masters so plenty of time to get in great shape.

Fun course. bad conditions
I do love the layout of this track. Let me be clear on that. But the greens were in awful shape today. Not smooth at all, inconsistent speed on practically every hole. Some rock hard in March? The next one soft as could be and the ball stopped immediately. Very frustrating for conditions wise. Once they get done punching next week I'm sure they will be back to pristine like I'm used to from here.

Great day for golf
The course was in very good shape. The pace of play was very slow so we only played 9 holes. They were super busy because of the unusually sudden warm weather. Thy are under construction so there was no eating or drinking facilities. Over all it was good though.

Good course especially after all the snow
Fairways are pretty dry. Soft smooshy greens right now but we did have a lot of snow

Wet day at Riverbend
Tee'd off early, course was almost empty. December in Washington means your getting wet and we did. Only managed to get in 9, standing water on greens ended our day. Clubhouse under construction and the cat behind the counter was a good dude. Fun course, more challenging than you would expect from a muni. Worth getting out to if you can.
