Riverbend Golf Complex
About
The Riverbend Golf Complex sits along the Green River in Kent Valley, Wash. Owned and operated by the City of Kent, the complex offers a championship, 18-hole course and a mini-golf course. The 18-hole course is one of the busiest in the state with more than 65,000 rounds played on it annually. The golf course sprawls across a relatively flat landscape, making it easily walkable. Though it may not be hilly, that doesn't mean it's trouble free. There are more than 50 bunkers strategically placed throughout and three lakes come into play as well. The layout is player friendly, with enough variety to appeal to players of all skill levels.

The golf outing. Photo submitted by mastergolfer12 on 09/26/2012
Straight and easy course
The course is very flat. Most of the holes are straight with good size fairways. Only few holes have water. You can put up a good score easily. And there aren’t a lot of hazards, so the course has good pace.
Good Pace of Play
For a busy day, we were able to play in 3 Hours and 50 minutes. Had to wait a couple times but moved well. Course was a little dry in spots but overall the course was in good shape.
Very disappointing- will not play again
Terrible course (both in upkeep and staff)- definitely won't play again. They had no ice, undrinkable water from the fountains (looked like 1% milk coming out), wouldn't honor their golf now rates that were booked and the course needs 200% more water on the grass. Not to mention, it's in a pretty rough area and they have signs all over saying to lock your car and hide anything inside, there is no snack/drink cart, and the restaurant was closed all day.
Very friendly course layout
I don’t have any issues with the course itself, greens could have been a touch quicker and the sand a bit softer but all in all it was a solid day. Course provides its challenges with water and some holes are true par 5’s.
My only problem was that it’s a, “dry course.” No alcohol at all, gentlemen that worked their said the restaurant closed down? He didn’t know why or when/if it would be up and running again.
This course is declining!
I have played this course in the past and it is not as well maintained as it used to be. The restaurant has been closed far as long as I can remember. No food or beverages available. It is not worth what it cost to play there unless you get a deal!
Great Value
Had a great time. Would love to play again. Started at 4:45 and finished about 8:30.
Nice greens
Smooth greens, great pace of play, forgiving layout. Traveled over an hour to try a new course from GolfNow, it was well worth the drive! I wasn’t playing well but was still had a great time, it’s hard to find greens this pure for the price.
3 out of 5
I wish GN would have indicated the course restaurant’/bar was closed - no bevy cart either. Course was a bit dry and ground was hard- good shot is at the mercy of the bounce!!
Beautiful day and beautiful course
Arrived early and staff was kind enough to get me an earlier start. Play was slow, but day and course were perfect for my first time playing this year. Definitely going bavk for more. Golf time made it easy to schedule tee time.
Flexibility and Kindness!
Had two different tee time and had one team in the middle which is not our group. Quite well arranged for playing back-to-back and they cleaned my hand cart after round as well.
It was much appreciated and made me in good mood even after perfect round in perfect weather :)

Great round, bit slow but the weather was perfect. Bummed Golfnow did not use 5.99 fee to hold spot instead of charging whole round to card. I couldn't use prepaid card bought there.

Course was in great shape, weather was excellent and all things were good...average pace..can't wait to play it again after the heat dries it out a bit more.
Sun came out, birdies went in
Great staff, challenging pin locations, freshly mowed fairways and rough, nice greens and fun as heck! My only wish was for the restaurant to be open to grab a beer while my friends were paying up on skins : ) . Headed to Meeker Street Bar and Grill down the road (just east of the course on Meeker Street) for some happy hour specials and Manny's on tap!
Great day for golf in January
The day was perfect, the course was a little wet, no surprise for January, the greens soft n slow, again, no surprise for January, no restaurant or beer so that was a bit of a bummer but we finished in 4:39 so decent pace. Great day.
