About
The Riverbend Golf Complex sits along the Green River in Kent Valley, Wash. Owned and operated by the City of Kent, the complex offers a championship, 18-hole course and a mini-golf course. The 18-hole course is one of the busiest in the state with more than 65,000 rounds played on it annually. The golf course sprawls across a relatively flat landscape, making it easily walkable. Though it may not be hilly, that doesn't mean it's trouble free. There are more than 50 bunkers strategically placed throughout and three lakes come into play as well. The layout is player friendly, with enough variety to appeal to players of all skill levels.

Good condition for wet winter weather
I enjoyed my round at Riverbend. Even though it was cold and wet, the course was in pretty good shape. The greens were surprisingly good and most fairway areas were not real wet. I plan to play there again.
Not bad for January
After quite a bit of rainy weather, it was not surprising the course was cart path only. The fairways were not excessively wet and most bunkers had some flooding, but there was a lot of standing water along the paths and in the areas next to the paths, making it very muddy in spots. Greens were slow but not too bumpy. Overall not bad for January, especially after all the rain we have had.
