About
The Riverbend Golf Complex sits along the Green River in Kent Valley, Wash. Owned and operated by the City of Kent, the complex offers a championship, 18-hole course and a mini-golf course. The 18-hole course is one of the busiest in the state with more than 65,000 rounds played on it annually. The golf course sprawls across a relatively flat landscape, making it easily walkable. Though it may not be hilly, that doesn't mean it's trouble free. There are more than 50 bunkers strategically placed throughout and three lakes come into play as well. The layout is player friendly, with enough variety to appeal to players of all skill levels.

I reserved our times with a card. It was charged immediately so I wasn’t able to use my free passes.
Seen Better Days
The course has seen better days, maintenance team was practicing chipping vs working on the course, flooded in spots and dead in others. Seems like need to look into things as guy changing the cup asked for time around 8 am which should be done hrs prior. Don’t know if would be back as 1st group out also sharing clubs causing slow play, no control of course
Didn't Finish Round
Course was well maintained. Staff was nice. Unfortunately we were asked to leave at about 8:45. This is well past the listed operating hours so no hard feelings with the course/staff on that front however we only made it to the 14th hole due to having teams of 3s in front of us the entire time. The course can only do so much to encourage pace of play but this is rough. Our tee time was 5:33 so just be aware if youre looking at later time slots. You might only get 9 in.
Fastest round ever!
I went solo and was first on. I didn’t play well the first half but still was able to finish in about 2 hrs and got to work early.

I love playing before work, instead of going to the gym. It's about 6.5 miles if I play well, but I got about 7+ that day playing left to right golf.

Riverbend Golf Complex!
Good day at Kent Riverbend
I decided the night before that I wanted to get out for some golf and found an early morning tee time (6:30am) at Riverbend. The course was in good shape, with only a couple of really wet areas, but they are working on the #7 green with a large area of the grass recently being replaced. I was paired with another single and we ended up skipping the par-3 5th as we were waiting on the foursome in front of us. Smooth sailing after that and we finished in 3.5 hrs. Great day on the course as the weather was fantastic.
