About
The Riverbend Golf Complex sits along the Green River in Kent Valley, Wash. Owned and operated by the City of Kent, the complex offers a championship, 18-hole course and a mini-golf course. The 18-hole course is one of the busiest in the state with more than 65,000 rounds played on it annually. The golf course sprawls across a relatively flat landscape, making it easily walkable. Though it may not be hilly, that doesn't mean it's trouble free. There are more than 50 bunkers strategically placed throughout and three lakes come into play as well. The layout is player friendly, with enough variety to appeal to players of all skill levels.

Pace of play nightmare…
5.5 hour round guaranteed… there was a ranger out there. Not sure what they were doing other than hide in the shade for hours and ultimately drive into a fairway while my ball was in the air nearly striking his cart. I now remember why I haven’t played here in 7+ years. Same old same old
Great layout
Disappointed with the starter and how they send out groups. My tee time was at 7:48 AM. I checked in early, around 7:15. No one was sent out until 7:40. Don’t know why I couldn’t go out early. Almost half an hour wait.

Supper slow play and no marshal
The front nine took almost two hours which would have been okay accept there was a backup two deep on the back.
It’s bring-your-own or go thirsty - The course restaurant closed over the winter and there was no drink cart on the course.
The greens and fairways were in good shape and the price is below average so I understand the popularity. Would help if there was someone keeping the bloggers from stalling play so they can get the perfect selfie :-(

Flat Track
This is a fun course with quite a few water hazards. The greens are in grood shape with the exception of #7 which has a large portion of the middle currently under repair.

Grass is green. All the greens are running medium. They've been putting a little bit work into the course itself.

Good course.
Good course moderately challenging, but tee times are too close back to back. End up waiting at next tee box for 5-10 mins for the ground waiting and the group already in play. Paid for 18 holes and only got in 9 due to the holdups.

Needs a 19th hole
Decent course for the price. Fun to play and most patrons seem to be good people. The issue is the restaurant is closed and they don’t have drinks available at all. No beer carts, half way house, nothing so bring what you want to snack on and drink.

Lower prices
When a school is playing there that’s fine, but please lower the price. That was an unnecessary 5 hour round on a Monday because of how many people were there and poor Marshall enforcement with slow play.
