1st time playing this course.
This course was nice. Got there early and beat the heat. Played the course in about 3.5 hrs. Probably the quickest I have played a course, didn't do that well but 1st time playing in 2yrs and scored a 96. Tied with my partner that round. Got the Tee time through golf now for 25$ with cart. Would definitely play here again. Overall really enjoyed the course, only slight issue was it was hard to tell where some of the next holes were. We did find them 1st attempt but it was through good guessing on a couple holes. Played 7:24 am -11am. Beat the heat as it ended at 92° that day
Shrine is Shining
Played twice in May. Course never looked better. Greens have greatly improved with a better true.
The pace is perfect. I'm talking a Friday round.
I'm definitely playing The Fez again!
Best Short Course in the Puget Sound
If you want to play a short course without sacrificing quality and challenge, Nile Shrine is the place to go. Of all the courses I play locally, this is my go-to for a full 18 that doesn't take all day. The beauty of the course is unbeatable with water...but not too many water hazards. The natural treelines, lake, creek, and shrubbery make it challenging but not demoralizing. It plays longer than it measures, but faster than you would think. COVID created problems for the bunkers, but other than the bunkers the course is in pristine shape. I'd recommend this course because it's absolutely one of my favorite.
Definitely a Do-Over
We thoroughly enjoyed playing this course. The course was in good condition considering the early Spring season. The staff was very friendly and the food & beverage choices were terrific. Our only suggestion is to add more signs along the cart that provide clearer direction to the next tee box. As first-timers we had to turn around several times because we made a wrong turn. Other than that, we’ll definitely play here a lot in the future…

Nile Shrine is my go-to-work-day course!
Nile Shrine is a short course with enough challenge and creativity to stretch your skills. While there are no par 5's, there are plenty of 4's for driving and the long game. The fairways present challenges of beautiful trees, water features, and picturesque play. The par 3's tend to be more challenging than many courses I play and there aren't too many of them. Nile Shrine is my favorite, "up and on the course" golfing go to when I want to play early and make it to the office...especially during the long days of summer in the Puget Sound.
