Great day for golf
Course conditions were excellent. Easy to tell that they take pride in making the grass nice. Great tee boxes, fairways and greens. Weather was perfect, too!
Short, but sweet.
Pros:
-Great value for the how well kept the grass is.
-Great for beginners or families.
-Great variety of hole layouts.
-Staff is friendly and kind.
Cons:
-Plays on the shorter side, lots of irons off the tees.
-Greens are carpentry and thick, not very true.
I had a blast playing at Nile Shrine. It’s a cute course that knows what it is, and the maintenance crew takes care of the course, which makes up for the short layout, and small greens. It’s a great course for beginners to gain confidence on a full 18, and for skilled players to work on their iron play and shot shaping

Below Par
Front nine looks horrible. Back nine is significantly more picturesque and the conditions are considerably better, yet drainage seems to be an issue throughout the fairways even after two days of sunshine.
Checking in, I was a bit taken aback by the frigid welcome. Maybe it was the mask and the plexiglass, but it was certainly not a very welcoming place.
Lastly, the lack of signs presents not only navigational problems, but there are a few holes where the tee box drives over traffic (roads with cars)!

Spring golf is here!
Overall, conditions pretty good considering the recent weather. Grass was in better shape than some of the other courses around Seattle. Still some muddy/boggy areas and places where the grass needs to fill in. Greens in good shape!
