Golfer Reviews
amazing
Love this course! Best course in Washington in my book and better then most I play in oregon. Only thing was pace of play! A little slow but not to bad overall! Staff was very friendly and food was great! Course is well maintained. Not to challenging but has some holes that you need to play right or you will find yourself in a bunker or some water. I will be playing here often. I'd highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking for a fun, and somewhat challenging course with great views and amazing course layout
Very nice course
Beautiful course. They manage to keep the greens firm and fast and the bunkers light and fluffy which is difficult in the Northwest. The only downside to the course was some stinky water along the seventh hole.
A marshal would be benificial
It was very busy..... I had a foursome in front of us that was taking 15+ minutes on every green, then behind us we had a foursome dropping balls on the green as I'm putting....... It was crazy, a marshal to make sure this type of thing is not happening would make a round not only safer, but more enjoyable.
Suprising Find north of Vancouver, WA
This is a good course that could be a great course with a few fixes. The tee boxes are not always flat. The sand traps are inconsistent in terms of depth and have a clay base in most. On the up side, the fairways are decent and the greens are very good.
Very few holes that border streets, so beginners are pretty safe here. Some of the grass bunkers next to the greens are pretty think and will swallow your ball. There are a few holes where water really comes into play, but mostly as a lateral hazard.
The one weird thing that some locals warned me about and it is true; the greens actually slow up during a day in the sun.
Great course, could use a marshal
Very wide open course, nice views of Mt St Helens. It is near IV, so some road noise. Greens were fast and a nice challenge. Played behind really slow foursome hitting from the back tees. The person we were teamed up with called the pro shop. They were told to speed up and play it forward. Did no good, so a 4 hour 50 minute round.
I do recommend to course, Hope to play again with normal folks in front of us.
Slow play makes it our 1st and last time at TriMountain.
We were pumped to play after booking a great golf, sleeve of balls and Gatorade promo on Golf Now. In the cart and we see they actively promoting a pace of play of 4:20 in the golf carts, so we thought "sweet 4.5 hrs and then off the the BBQ" but we were wrong! Tri-Mountain disappointed us big time. On a Saturday of a busy holiday weekend, the course didn't have a marshal and set us up for a six hour round. After playing 10 holes, a call to the shop got us a staff member to tell us there was "nothing I can do, sorry guys" after doing a quick drive by. Needless to say our threesome won't be back anytime soon and our families weren't happy about being 1.5 hours late for the BBQ. There are quicker and better options for our group.
Great time
Had a little drizzle at the start but the day turned out great and we had a good time. An enjoyable course with challenging holes.
Course can be windy at times but we played early and had just light breezes.
Excellent Course Conditions
Was very impressed with the course conditions. Never in the month of May have I ever had a ball roll and bounce in the fairways / greens like this in the Pacific Northwest!! Greens were in excellent shape!!
Nice course
Pretty fun course with some challenging water hazards. Bunkers were well maintained but wet when we started at 9am. Caught it on a beutiful sunny day with a little wind. The putting surfaces were in great condition and the toughs were mowed reasonably. A lot of places up here seem to let their grass grow pretty long.
A little harder walk, but great course layout
Hilly makes for interesting fairways. Greens fairly fast, but a good putt will roll true. Fairly busy, but pace is never slow. Have been paired with others each time and they were good players, friendly and fun. The regular greens fees are a little higher than others, but through GolfNow you can get great deals here.
very good golf courise
very good farway and putting green some hole very challenging.
Course well maintained greens were very consistant.
I understand you had a large group ahead of our foursome. The round took 5plus hours. I must really like this course but will check next time before I book my tee time. I understand many first time golfers come with these groups and a lot out if your control. Please keep trying to make your course special!
play was a little slow, but course is in great shape. fun, challenging and fair.
The play was a little slow at times, but with great greens and fun layout, it was a fantastic
day of golf!
Course conditons
Tri Mountain was in the best shape I've ever seen. Tee to green, great condition.
