Mount Si Golf Course
About
Located in the scenic Snoqualmie Valley less than 40 minutes east of Seattle, Mount Si Golf Course is known for its beautiful natural setting and panoramic views. The origins of the course date back to 1930s. The course that stands today is the result of many years of updates and improvements, and has become one of the most popular public golf courses in the area. The player-friendly layout is forgiving enough for beginners with only a few sand bunkers in play but it's more challenging than the scorecard would lead you to believe. The par 4s play short and tight and the four par-5 holes are the course's most memorable. The rolling landscape provides challenging breaks and tricky pin-placements on the greens. There are some tough holes but Mount Si is not an overly formidable golf course.

Good local course with unique holes and beautiful Mt. Si view
I’ve played Mount Si golf course many times and enjoy the interesting holes, as well as the views of Mount Si. The staff is friendly and the food and beverages on the deck of the restaurant are terrific! The only downside when playing today with a buddy is that they were heavily using sprinklers around the tee boxes. They were manually watering many of the greens as well. We actually had to tee off on a couple of holes on the fairway in front of the Teebox because the sprinkler would have totally soaked us. You think they would water at night instead, it was manageable but fairly inconvenient with the watering schedule for our early morning teatime. Otherwise, I love the course and plan to come back many times.
Really Fun Course to Play
I played my first round of golf ever at Mt Si in 1983. I think the last time I played there was about 15 years ago. It's still the fun course I remember and highly recommend playing there. The views are fabulous too!
Some holes are pretty challenging and I was a bit frustrated that the old bunkers no longer have sand and instead have 4-5" long grass which was pretty brutal. Other than that, it's a very enjoyable course to play.
And - the food is great and the staff gave service with a smile.
Condition of green and fairway
I am playing once or twice a week recently and very satisfied with friendly service of staffs and
high level of the condition of the green and fairway.
Scenic course
Pro Shop person checked us in a timely manner.... Started our round on time though we thought there was a five some ahead of us which really slowed the pace of play.
Fast Greens!
Great time today! Greens were lightning fast today!
Mt Si is the best value course in WA
Our "go to" course on a weekly basis. A little slower than normal because of COVID19. That said it is well manicured with fast greens. The course layout is good , the back nine the best with great vistas of Mt Si towering overhead. For those who hit it straight and long you will get low scores for sure. For those who leak off the fairways ,good luck with the tall pines that are ready to swat your ball away and laugh at you.
All told, a beautiful muni course with a nice restaurant and plenty of different beers and a hotdog stand. The people from the checkin to the marshall to the greenskeepers and restaurant staff are class acts! And there is a driving range with both mats and grass and a nice putting surface. Highly recommended !
Lovely Course - spectacular views
The course is a lot of fun. Great views of Mt Si and at twilight when we played the sunset colors on the mountain were spectacular. Not to mention the frequent views of the local elk herd in the fields across from the course. Great value as well.
My only negative was related to an extremely slow playing foursome two groups ahead that had us stacked at every tee box. Slow play should be governed by a course steward. Also would love to see grass bunkers around greens replaced with nice sand bunkers.
Beautiful course
First time playing here, course was in great shape. Nice layout, trees more likely to punish errant shots than rough. Did notice lack of signage especially where the cart path had several directions possible and would have gotten lost except we were playing with people who knew the course. Will play here again soon
