Mount Si Golf Course
About
Located in the scenic Snoqualmie Valley less than 40 minutes east of Seattle, Mount Si Golf Course is known for its beautiful natural setting and panoramic views. The origins of the course date back to 1930s. The course that stands today is the result of many years of updates and improvements, and has become one of the most popular public golf courses in the area. The player-friendly layout is forgiving enough for beginners with only a few sand bunkers in play but it's more challenging than the scorecard would lead you to believe. The par 4s play short and tight and the four par-5 holes are the course's most memorable. The rolling landscape provides challenging breaks and tricky pin-placements on the greens. There are some tough holes but Mount Si is not an overly formidable golf course.

Favorite public course in PNW
Mt. Si is a fun yet challenging course with a great view. Today my daughter and I felt like we were playing a resort course. All areas are well mowed so deep rough is not a concern. Care and detail shows in their flower beds throughout the course. A truly park like setting. Very nice overall ambience.
Good condition for time of year
I've played this course over 50 times and consider it my 'home' course. It's a fun course and a great value for the money you spend. Staff is always friendly and you can get through a round pretty fast during the week. The weekends are backed up, but that's normal on any NW course.
The course conditions were good for the time of year (mid-March) and it's challenging enough to make it fun. There are risk/reward holes and you walk away with enough good shots wanting to play again.
Looking forward to playing it again and again throughout the year.
Some of the best views in WA
Fun course with beautiful views. Great variety of holes, wide fairways, different elevations add some challenges to approach shots. For the price this is a course worth checking out, make sure to take a few photos of the mountains.
Great Off-Season Course
Mt Si is my favorite course from November through March. The ball bounces and rolls in the fairways and rarely plugs anywhere. The greens are in consistently in good shape. The course has a good variety of holes, and the challenge of hitting the fairways and the greens is generally proportional to the length of the holes. In the spring and summer some greens get especially challenging. Some tee shots favor a fade, some a draw and some a straight trajectory. The views are nice and sometimes you'll see bald eagles, herons and in the winter, even elk nearby.
Great Value, Good Availability
Fun Course with easy access from Seattle and the Eastside. Most often, Tee Times are available with a few days advance (unlike most courses in the general vicinity). Course plays a little short, so mid handicap golfers should play the blue tees. One thing to note is that the fence lining the back nine holes is considered an "immovable man made object", so if your ball comes to rest outside of the fence line, it is a free drop.
Good value and views.
Mt. Si Golf Course is probably the best public course on the Eastside and well worth the drive. There aren't any houses to hit so you can really let it fly. The elevated greens and dog leg fairways can be challenging but makes the game interesting.
Playable golf
Plenty of challenges on this picturesque course.
Excellent value especially for seniors.
Come for the golf, stay for the food.
Not bad for how much rain we had
Little soggy in places but most of the course was easily playable
Great course for your average golfer
Considering location this course is kept in great condition. Easy walk but has it's challenges. I haven't played it a lot, but still a local favorite.
Staff Were a Bummer
The staff were rude which kinda soured the day , I think the woman running the pro shop thought we were late to our tee time. Then the Marshall kept harassing us because there was a gap in the tee time again. It was frustrating that it kept coming back to that misunderstanding about the tee time. We finished our round in a little over 4 hours and was talked to by the Marshall 3 times, it was distracting and annoying.
The course was in decent shape, greens were pretty true.
Good Golf Course
26 minutes-drive from home is acceptable.Already booked the previous day and just an old couple ahead of me.The gentleman asked me to play first, very friendly.I enjoyed the play with the rain, although a little bit chilly. But something happened at the last hole. When I walked to putting green,a dog suddenly rushed to me.In that case , I have to protect myself with the iron.Such an unforgettable experience.
Tee time is the tee time
Arrived for 1.07pm tee time and was advised that Golfnow had messed up and my tee time was actually 1.22pm and I would be playing with a single. Waiting to tee off at the 1.22 time and pro shop staff advised that my single would not now be turning up and I noticed that 3 ball had joined the 2 ball on the 1st green and had become a 5 ball. Pro shop staff stated this was ok, so it seems I got bumped to be a single behind a 5 ball when I took the last place on the 1.07 tee time on the app - shame on these antics but credit to the course staff who have got the course in fine fettle.
Slooooowwwwww!!!!!
It was Labor Day but way to many people on the course to have a steady pace. We waited on most every hole. Go during the week if you can.
Hello, ballzinhole. Thank you for reviewing the course. Your feedback about the course is important to us. With the recent rain we are working to get everything up to par. The current condition is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We will continue to work towards an excellent experience by using your comment for guidance. Thank you for playing Mount Si Golf Course. We hope to see you again soon for a 5 star experience.
