Fun Course, country setting
Beautiful course on the bank of the Lewis River. 600+ yard #12. Good greens.
Playing in the tree lined environment with the peacefulness of the hills is an experience
Dining on the outside deck over looking the Lewis River is a must
Sad condition very bad day at Lewis River
So sad. This use to be one of my top courses to play. I went out and the condition of the course where below average. Great course lay out however greens where very slow and bumpy. Tee boxes where also in sad shape. Fairway where dry and again not in great condition. What has happened to this course. On top of a poor day I lost my 58 degree brand new vokey wedge and either no one turned it in or the staff decided to keep. Also noticed a posting in the Mens locker room of a guy getting his entire set of clubs stolen out of the back of his vehicle while he was at Lewis River. Sad to say but I will not be a paying customer to this course again which was on my top 5 list about 5 years ago. I drive from South Portland area which is over and hour drive to golf this course. Wont be making the drive again
