Not Worth It
I believe there is a reasonable course to be found here but neglect has hidden that course. Slow soft spongy bouncy greens (2 with standing water on them in the afternoon!). Some fairways totally baked out. Other places that were muddy. Some tee boxes devoid of turf. For the price I expect something much more than a closely mown cow pasture. I feel bad - I know there have been challenges but the price/value metric just isn't there.
Mt good Oregon resort
The greens were very wet and receptive for this time of year, so was able to fire at the pins! Hardly saw many golfers for a resort! Great value also got a cart with the Hot Deal! Going to back again soon!🤗
Great price!
Overall, great price for the course. The greens and course could use title TLC.
Scenic course views
It’s such a beautiful course this time of year! The views are amazing and playing during the week is perfect because there are very few golfers there! Also love the hot deals as well! A great course at a great price!

Say What?
The course was in ok shape. The greens need to be cut and rolled. Putting on shag carpet. Don’t buy a margarita on the course. Was blown away when they charge me 28 bucks for 2 drinks. Low end tequila and margarita mix. Only paid 30 bucks for the round of golf.
Course is playing best it has in 5 years
Greens played quicker than normal, the holes were finally moved in placements that were challenging. I hope these improvements continue. Such a great course and area
Beautiful Course
Mt Hood Oregon Resort has 3 9-hole courses in a beautiful NW woods setting. There are houses and condos around the course, but they don’t really interfere with the experience of the course. I would rate Thistle as an easy course, Pinecone is a somewhat challenging, and FoxGlove will challenge you. It is a fun course and a great experience.
Just a perfect setting and a real fun course to play!
Play here a couple times per year. The course is in the best shape I've ever seen it. Ball speed on the greens were excellent and played extremely well. Shot one of my best games ever. Weather was perfect. I'll be back sooner than later.
This course is beautiful but...
Having been coming here since it was Bowmans 1972 there is a deep appreciation for the natural beauty and preservation of the 3 courses.
Seeing the last 4 years of up and downs, covid rules, staffing shortage and weather damage to club house and course I would say it's making a great come back! Clearly new management is in force.. the club house has received a make over.
In my opinion in order to charge the fees they seek and keep loyal following the
grounds need far more attention. Though much cleanup and many improvements have been made recently the greens still need work! The mower needs to be used more frequent and tighter cuts on all fair play areas.
I recommend the overall experience as it's a gorgeous natural environment.
Keep up the improvements resort at the Mountain. You have a natural jewel!
Foxglove and Pinecone @MHR
Fairways and boxes in great shape, greens roll smooth and play was 3.5 hrs. Can’t beat the scenery
