Nice course...bad experience
I've played this course on average 2-3 times per summer. I enjoy the layout, conditions, and challenge of this rural course. Today however we experienced a first. First of all , my tee time which I made through Tee Off was not in their books. Fortunately I had my confirmation email. The real problem was the pace of play. A youth lessons program was taking place and a half hour into our round the kids were sent out onto the course shot gun style. This slowed things down, but I'm ok with introducing the game to new young players. We also thought they would only play a few holes...which they did. The 5some of men in front of us who we caught up to on hole 9 was the reason our 18 hole round lasted almost 5 hours. We had to wait on every tee box and on most approach shots. Our 4some was followed by a 3some who were right on our tail due to our necessary waiting. Frustrating! Fortunately great weather all day.
