Herbert F. Johnson Park Golf Club

First off let me say that the scenery at Johnson Park is

awesome. Unfortunately this was not a good experience

today. Had a bunch of rain over the wknd so I called b4 booking. Clubhouse said all 18 were open for play. I booked 18. Got there a couple hrs later and the back 9 was closed. LM say, there was evident standing water on #10 I could see from the 1st tee box. No way the back 9 shoulda been open when I called @ 9am.

When checking in staff said I’d have to call GolfNow to

get reimbursement for back 9. Called GN. They called the course for verification and couldn’t reach them.

Pace of play was ridiculously slow=No ranger on duty!

All and all a beautiful day to be outside. Just not to play Johnson. 1st really bad putting here.

Course was flooded due o rain so back 9 was closed which was not indicated on their website when booking

Course was on great shape, except a couple of place. Sorry we go rained out. Got reason check!!

Thank you to all the grounds workers, their hard work pays off for our enjoyment!

And to all the ladies who take care of us in the courtesy cart. Yous should all be very proud of the service they provide for us. Very rare young ppl now a days go way out of their way to provide the service we asked for. I cant say enough how appreciative we were. Thank you ladies!

Very well maintained golf course for tge amount of play it gets. Excellent county course. Thank you Johnson park staff

This is a great gem. Course is in excellent shape. Greens fees very reasonable. Pace of play, excellent. Would highly recommend.

Love Johnson’s! Even with all the rain we got it was in great condition!

Greens are in excellent condition unlike a couple of other courses we’ve been to. Grass is cut very close in fairways too . Kudos to the grounds crew… doing a great job. Always enjoy golfing here !!
