Wished for a Better round!!
Initially disappointed that carts were not allowed on the course and would have preferred a heads-up to bring along personal cart. I was offered a free cart with handle kept falling apart and cannot hold my bag going up/dowm slopes. Otherwise, would have been a lovely round....I will be back!!
Johnson's Park
Course was in very good condition. Greens were good, as well. Always a fun course to play.
SLOW PACE OF PLAY
The course is beautiful, the staff is wonderful. Very very nice people all the way around, but be advised, every time ive golfed here, they let five somes out together. Donr get me wrong, i think its nice to be able to get 5 friends out for golf, but it really slows the pace. Hard to get into a rhythm!
Over all great track, always well maintained , just wish they would keep it to foursomes.
The course was in great shape!
We had a great spring round, the course was in great shape! We will probably be coming back.
Unusually slow play
What’s normally a four hour play time turned into four and a half hours because of one group of very slow players (which does occasionally happen… understandably) but the “fivesome” in front of us was extremely slow. The really bad part was we finally went around them , missing playing two holes. All of this is very unusual for Johnsons but not this day. We love playing at Johnsons but this day was the most frustrating of any times we’ve played here. Hopefully better luck next time.
To big groups
They let a group of 10 go out to golf together and they had loud music playing.And they wouldn't let people play thru.Poor management a golf Ranger would prevent this especially on a busy Saturday afternoon.
