Spring Valley Country Club

Being in the beginning of April, it was bad, it was just so so. It was nice just to get the clubs out of the moth balls

Lots of leaves but you got to expect that this time of year it was also very windy so hard to kept the fairways clear

Front 9 was 2 1/2 hours. What happened to playing through. Burgers were good. Back 9 was great. 1 1/2 hours.

Recommendation I have is quit allowing groups of six. . Watching six players stand around watching putts is maddening. Plus they were playing the blue tees and driving 150 yards

No sand bunkers was kinda confusing. And also the lack of signs telling you where the next tee box is. We got lost trying to find the next tee box and ended up on a completely different hole so did the group in front of us

Spring Valley is an open course and plays easier than a lot of other golf courses I’ve played. I’m a 14 handicap and I enjoyed the difficulty of this course. I would go again but it wouldn’t be my “regular” option.

I'll start by saying that for $40 I'd much rather play Ives, Brown's L, Brighton, or Petrifying. It's not worth the $40. Tee boxes were in horrible condition. Greens were bumpy and had insect damage. There were five different types of grass around the greens. No towels on the ball wash stations, and there wasn't a ball wash station are every hole . No cart girl.

It is short, it's a fair course and scorable, but it's just a poor condition course. I can play Maplecrest or Rivermoor for $20 with a hot deal and they are in better overall condition.

Sorry, but I just can't recommend this course. If it were $20-$25 sure it's fair for that, for $40 there's way better options close by.

Played behind a six-some of golf course regulars for most of the back 9. Never saw a course ranger once to break up this 6-some that was slow, and never once asked us to play thru despite us being a twosome and no one in front of them. The purpose of course rangers is to not allow people like this to screw up a round of golf for others. Won't play there again because of this.
