Bristol Ridge Golf Course

About
Just a short drive from the Twin Cities, Bristol Ridge Golf Course is a championship course that is conveniently located for a getaway that doesn't involve too much of a time investment. The rolling terrain provides a good amount of challenge while also being player friendly enough for beginners. The tree-lined fairways tumble across the natural contours of the land, which also helped determine the strategic placement of the bunkers. Despite being quite hilly, the golf course is pleasantly walkable. There are also water hazards that come into play on a few holes. The well conditioned greens provide smooth, fast putting surfaces. Each hole has a different character and most are anything but straightforward. Bristol Ridge Golf Course's 11th hole is short but memorable with an almost-island green, surrounded by water on three sides.

Terrible day
Prepaid for my round including cart. Course did not allow carts and offered no sort of refund. Had to walk on a course not great for walking. Will not go back anytime soon
Backyard course
Fun course just down the road from the house. It’s a nice tight well kept course with friendly staff.
Great course!
It’s a great little course tucked in the Wisconsin hills of the St.Croix valley. It’s tight but your not stepping over other people the course is separated well and laid out nicely.
Great course conditions
The ground staff really keep this course beautiful. The greens run true and consistent
Good value-challenging course
I have not played this course for over 10 years or so.
My home course where I belong is a very challenging course so, I am used to playing shot selection clubs and not just willy nilly.
Upon coming back, I was reminded how challenging this course can be!
Often times your tee shots require precise placements, meaning driver is in the bag. I would say this happens 3-4 times off the tee on the par 4's and 1 par 5.
Some of the landing areas seem to be only 40 yards wide, with trees lining the fairways. Punch outs are often required for missed fairways.
So for everyday hacks like most of us, this will cause you to think and choose wisely.
The greens were overall in great shape. Some quicker than expected, some average.
A handful of greens were small, some elevated, which is always a bit of a challenge.
Overall, it is a good course for the Golf Now users and the price we paid.
In this market, it is difficult to find courses under $60-$70 so at the $40 we paid, it was a great value and I will fill the tee sheet from time to time again in the future.
Excellent course condition
The fairways, rough and greens were very well cared for. Cut to perfection and we saw plenty of ground staff looking after it. Well done
Very slow
Booked an 1118am tee time. They didn't pair me with anyone and had me (a single) behind two foursomes. I teed off early, like 1103am, didn't tee off on hole 3 until 1134. 30 minutes for two holes. It was terrible. Course conditions were pretty sloppy for late may. Tee boxes were bad and greens has tons of leaves on then.
Nice course
Tee boxes are a mess on several holes. Group in front of us were beginners and no golf etiquette. We had to wait on every shot. Not the courses fault however.
Very well set out
Very nice variation of holes and good use of the natural hills. Good even speed across all the greens which were quite challenging. Great pace of play. Very nice clubhouse/ bar/ shop with decent food offerings ( no hotdogs though!! ) and two indoor simulators. Definitely coming again
Poor shape
Play at least annually
Worst shape ever
Tee boxes brutal
No cart girl available on a nice day
Employees complaining about management
Tough greens
The course layout was good but the greens are in great condition but they are hard to two putt the greens play the course to see what I mean
