Bristol Ridge Golf Course
About
Just a short drive from the Twin Cities, Bristol Ridge Golf Course is a championship course that is conveniently located for a getaway that doesn't involve too much of a time investment. The rolling terrain provides a good amount of challenge while also being player friendly enough for beginners. The tree-lined fairways tumble across the natural contours of the land, which also helped determine the strategic placement of the bunkers. Despite being quite hilly, the golf course is pleasantly walkable. There are also water hazards that come into play on a few holes. The well conditioned greens provide smooth, fast putting surfaces. Each hole has a different character and most are anything but straightforward. Bristol Ridge Golf Course's 11th hole is short but memorable with an almost-island green, surrounded by water on three sides.

Excellent course condition
The fairways, rough and greens were very well cared for. Cut to perfection and we saw plenty of ground staff looking after it. Well done
Very slow
Booked an 1118am tee time. They didn't pair me with anyone and had me (a single) behind two foursomes. I teed off early, like 1103am, didn't tee off on hole 3 until 1134. 30 minutes for two holes. It was terrible. Course conditions were pretty sloppy for late may. Tee boxes were bad and greens has tons of leaves on then.
Nice course
Tee boxes are a mess on several holes. Group in front of us were beginners and no golf etiquette. We had to wait on every shot. Not the courses fault however.
Very well set out
Very nice variation of holes and good use of the natural hills. Good even speed across all the greens which were quite challenging. Great pace of play. Very nice clubhouse/ bar/ shop with decent food offerings ( no hotdogs though!! ) and two indoor simulators. Definitely coming again
Poor shape
Play at least annually
Worst shape ever
Tee boxes brutal
No cart girl available on a nice day
Employees complaining about management
Tough greens
The course layout was good but the greens are in great condition but they are hard to two putt the greens play the course to see what I mean
Great course. One of my favorites. Recommend to anyone.
Always nice to play
As usual Mitch and the staff make us feel welcome and the course is a challenge, we make this course one of our rotation and play it at least once a month if you haven’t played Bristol you should!
Bristol Ridge
Great weather. Narrow fairways, fast greens. Great price. Course needs water. Lots of dry areas. Saw two deer and a red fox.
Course was in pretty good condition considering it was early season and the amount of winter kill around the area. It's a nice mix of open fairways with a few tight shots required. Greens are good and not overly rolling. This is a great value course to play!
A favorite
As usual Bristol never lets us down lots of challenge. We play this corse a lot and is in the top ten of our close to the cities courses. It was in good shape for this time of year and as usual we stopped for a Wisconsin only beers the end of our round, We had a nice conversation with Rick enjoying our libations.
Great course
Conditions weren’t too notch but it was opening weekend. Great course, everything was good. I’d play it again.
Always a challenge
I have played this course a few times and can say that it is one of go to tracks. It is always in great shape the pace of play is not ever terrible and the challenge never lets me down. The club house is inviting and the staff always welcoming.
Great Day!
Course conditions: great tee's fairways, and greens. Nice pace on the greens. Pace of play was awesome. 18 in 3.3 hours on a Wednesday. Great clubhouse and restaraunt/bar staff. Great value, we'll be back!
