Inconsiderate owner
I guess the owner of the course decided to play golf with 7 other people.not taking concern with paying customers or members.had to be right behind this group that decided to have the cart girl hit a few balls and then putt a one on another. While making inappropriate advances at cart girl.how bout some respect for your paying customers and your employees. Take the loss on tee times to enjoy your day instead of disrupting the whole pace of play.nice job .
First time
I felt th course itself was too bumpy. I remarked during play we should have had an ATV than a golf cart. Love the wide fairways and the staff's friendliness. Course itself I would not play again.
Very bumpy
Be careful course is very bumpy.lost my putter cover because of the bumps.overall had a good day.
Missing the mark
Course is nice. provides a variety of challenges. The amenities are lacking. Driving range is hidden and far from club house. Many do not even know it its there. You have to buy the basket of balls at the club house then travel. Secondly, I played on a weekend and never was visited by the beverage cart until the 15th hole and she had nothing to offer. Like why visit if you don't have anything. Stopped in the clubhouse at the turn (9hole) and there was a long line trying to buy something. Had to skip it. Basically bring your own to be safe. I was very thirsty. Carts also are very basic; no windshields, no usb, not range screens. Basic. Worth playing but plan ahead.
Very disappointed
The first 9 holes were like riding through a cow pasture , so bumpy it felt like you were on a roller coaster. Then they had the nerve to charge $40 . Will never play there again. The only thing that was good was the hot dog.
Great Course
Beautiful course with a challenging layout. Some holes are exceptionally difficult while others are simple and straight forward. This course makes you think how best to use each of your clubs!
Nice course, great value!!
This is a great course to walk with some tricky short par 4’s and some blind shots. The greens were in great shape and holding on a particularly dry day. The staff was really friendly and the pace of play was good. I would recommend this course to any type of golfer.
Bad
Would not play here again. Would not recommend to play here
Course Review
Small greens that roll well.
Tee boxes are in terrible shape.
Hard to follow holes. basically fortunate to have played with members.
Some unique holes. Relatively a short course.
Very disappointed
First and last time playing Twin Lakes. Trying to find our way around with no signage as to where the next hole might be was a challenge. I have never played anywhere that had so many humps up and down virtually every fairway. This could be a really nice course but with no maintenance it’s doubtful that will ever happen.
Way Over Priced
This course is way overpriced. Decent course but not worth $50 a round.
Fun course, great staff
Love this place. Had a group of regulars who played fast behind us, otherwise it was fantastic.
Weird Layout, tiny greens. 3 star course
Positives: Good value, decent course conditions, somewhat challenging
Negatives: very strange layout, almost all Par 5’s and Par 3’s. Tons of bumps and mounds in the fairways and all over the course,...very uncomfortable cart ride. Super small greens
If the greens were a bit bigger and the fairways weren’t so bumpy, I would consider playing this course again. But that combined with the very strange course layout made this course a bit below average for me
New thoughts
I have been a huge advocate of this course all summer but, the last two times it has been SO overbooked, as a single I jumped around to avoid congestion. This last time it was so crowded I quit after nine hole. It took 2.5 to play the back nine and I was looking at. 30 minute wait for the front. I get you need customers to pay the bills but packing that many players on a course ( slow players to boot) is not enjoyable. I was going to join but have seriously reconsidered
Great course
This has become my go to course, consistent in conditions and just challenging enough to keep you honest. The staff is awesome and be forewarned it is a busy place.
