Links at Gettysburg
About
The Links at Gettysburg sprawls across rolling hills situated near the hallowed grounds where the defining battle of the Civil War took place. The golf course wages a formidable challenge itself, featuring 35 steep rock cliffs where the stone-lined tee boxes are perched and 10 lakes and waterfalls that come into play throughout. Red rock cart paths give a contrast to the lush greens and sparkling blue waters. The dramatic elevations allow golfers to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside but the scenery can be almost too distracting since the demanding layout requires all of your attention. Be prepared for a bevy of strategically placed bunkers as well as mature trees. With the challenging layout and unrivaled views, it is no surprise that the Links at Gettysburg is ranked as one of the top 10 golf courses in Pennsylvania.

The guy still works at the course after an overt racism situation. They support his actions or he would be FIRED!!!! Photo submitted by u9215442 on 06/24/2020

Bring your 'A' game
Course is beautiful. Greens were lightning quick -- too quick for the penal pin positions. Holes 13-17 are a real gauntlet.
most interesting & very challenging for a super sr. citizen.
most interesting &challenging for a super sr. citizen. I'll probably go back and try it again now that I know the layout
Great layout, Challenging but fair
I like the elevation changes, different looks to the greens. A must play.....
Has interesting and challenging holes.
Great course which has very interesting layout. Pace of play was excellent. Greens were very good and rolled true.
The course was interesting, not at all how I remember from past play.
The course played fast. Good roll off the tee box. Pin placement in some trickey spots. Greens were quick and firm. Overall a good experience.
This course has excellent greens.
We play this course three or four times a year because it is challenging, always in excellent shape and a great value for the money. If you spray your shots, bring lots of balls.
Fun course; holds your attention.
I really like this course. There are so many aspects to like: overall conditions are very good; friendly staff; and a challenging layout. My only criticism is that the bunkers need actual sand instead of the clay dust they currently have. The dust is not deep enough...
The pinnacle of the experience may be the BEST hamburgers in the tri-state golf course area!!
a well layed out course for the shot maker
pin placements were very difficult with greens being firm and fast
Played in light rain, but the course was in great shape and the staff were very friendly.
Played in light rain, but the course was in great shape and the staff were very friendly.
The best one in the area!!
Stunning view from the clubhouse over-looking 18th hole green.has very tricky, undulating greens.play it now before becoming full of houses!
Tough flat stick day!
Gettysburg golf links is in good shape and the staff was friendly. The course has a great lay-out and is challenging. The greens are slick and difficult to get a good read. Overall a great course.
Hot Day, Great Course
It was nearly 100 degress out, but my family and I still enjoyed a great round of golf at a great price. Although I played terribly due to a nasty hook off the tee, you can't beat the value at the Hot Deal price of $25. It is a well maintained course with nice greens and views. I only wish I played better to enjoy it more. The one negative was that there was a really slow group in front of us, and a really fast group behind us, so we felt cramped all day.
Leave driver in the bag
Great course that is challenging but fair. This course will challenge players at any level both on the tee and on the green.
This is a very scenic course.
This is a course that you want to be hitting the ball straight off the tee. There is a lot of trouble on this course.
Plan to play it more than once!
It is a challenging course with some visually spectacular holes -while a couple others are tough for a first timer to know where to aim and/or what club to use. We did enjoy playing the course but were also a bit frustrated that on a couple of the par 3s, the tee position were moved enough that the yardage indicated was a full club off what it actually played. Beyond that, it is a very good course and we did enjoy our round.
This course is worth $75+ a round
Played the Links at Gettysburg on July 31, 2013. The course is surrounded by beautiful homes and the clubhouse matches that feeling. Just driving into the course really set the tone for the day.
The course was beautifully scenic. The red sandstone that is visible throughout most of the course adds a unique aesthetic. Several rock walls add the extra "Wow" factor to the views from the tee boxes.
The greens were in good shape with some tough pin placements. There is a lot of target golf to be played on this course. Certain holes call for a driver, but others are so tight that a 3 wood is a better choice (even a Par 5 on the back). In fact, much of the Back 9 will challenge your accuracy off the tee.
Overall, this course is a beauty. The fact that you can find it on here during the week for as low as $24 is completely absurd. we paid $38 for our 11am round and felt that we were getting away with something illegal. It's a beautiful course worth paying full price to play.
Great course...can't beat the price on Golf now
Took my 12year old son for the first time to the links at Gettysburg,
He loved it, the deal we got on GN you can't beat it. We would have paid the same price for a local public course. Private setting for a course that is public.
Bobby from York pa
Very challenging, one of the best in Central Pa.
Course makes you think on every shot, even the par threes. Undulating greens can cause some grief. Sloped fairways offer a lot of thought in the shot making. Very unique design. Must keep shots in the fairway to score well.
The Liks is a beautiful course. Challenging but fair.
The Gettysburg Links is a great course. The layout of the course is great. An opportunity to use many different clubs.
The fairways and greens were in great shape.
I look forward to playing the course again.
Course was physically great and challenging but pace of play was attrocius
Nice course challenging layout but pace of p[lay was horrible.
