About
The Links at Gettysburg sprawls across rolling hills situated near the hallowed grounds where the defining battle of the Civil War took place. The golf course wages a formidable challenge itself, featuring 35 steep rock cliffs where the stone-lined tee boxes are perched and 10 lakes and waterfalls that come into play throughout. Red rock cart paths give a contrast to the lush greens and sparkling blue waters. The dramatic elevations allow golfers to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside but the scenery can be almost too distracting since the demanding layout requires all of your attention. Be prepared for a bevy of strategically placed bunkers as well as mature trees. With the challenging layout and unrivaled views, it is no surprise that the Links at Gettysburg is ranked as one of the top 10 golf courses in Pennsylvania.

The guy still works at the course after an overt racism situation. They support his actions or he would be FIRED!!!! Photo submitted by u9215442 on 06/24/2020

Golfer Reviews
Course was in great shape
Fairways / greens were in great shape. The staff was very polite.
Great layout
The course has a great layout with many holes requiring shot selection as oppose to hitting driver off of every tee. The greens were challenging but fair. Many long putts required putts over mounds or to another tier and could break in multiple directions and go up and down slopes, so unless within 6 feet of the pin the putts were challenging. The greens were relatively fast, but well maintained and rolled well. The course has a gorgeous layout and I recommend this course.
Awesome Course!
Cannot believe I have not heard about this course sooner, it was awesome. The greens were fabulous, fast and true, I played Ohio State Scarlett a few days earlier and Gettysburg's were nicer. The only other course in the area I would compare this to is Maryland National, very similar in terms of style, greens, bunkers, etc. Staff was great. There was a good mix of challenges, the Golfnow discount makes this a great value. I'll be back regularly if possible!
tough holes and lots of water. greens were fast and hard to read
course almost pristine but not quite. no ranger in sight (only at the start). group in front wouldn't let us (twosome) through. could have finished in less than 3 1/2 hours but ranger nowhere to be found to move the group in front. no one to clean your clubs when you are finished, which is something I expect from this type of course.
Beautiful setting, gorgeous layout, lightning fast greens
Incredible course that makes you think as well as play. If you can't keep it in the fairway it'll be a long day.
most interesting & very challenging for a super sr. citizen.
most interesting &challenging for a super sr. citizen. I'll probably go back and try it again now that I know the layout
Great layout, Challenging but fair
I like the elevation changes, different looks to the greens. A must play.....
Has interesting and challenging holes.
Great course which has very interesting layout. Pace of play was excellent. Greens were very good and rolled true.
The course was interesting, not at all how I remember from past play.
The course played fast. Good roll off the tee box. Pin placement in some trickey spots. Greens were quick and firm. Overall a good experience.
This course has excellent greens.
We play this course three or four times a year because it is challenging, always in excellent shape and a great value for the money. If you spray your shots, bring lots of balls.
Fun course; holds your attention.
I really like this course. There are so many aspects to like: overall conditions are very good; friendly staff; and a challenging layout. My only criticism is that the bunkers need actual sand instead of the clay dust they currently have. The dust is not deep enough...
The pinnacle of the experience may be the BEST hamburgers in the tri-state golf course area!!
Played in light rain, but the course was in great shape and the staff were very friendly.

The best one in the area!!
Stunning view from the clubhouse over-looking 18th hole green.has very tricky, undulating greens.play it now before becoming full of houses!
Tough flat stick day!
Gettysburg golf links is in good shape and the staff was friendly. The course has a great lay-out and is challenging. The greens are slick and difficult to get a good read. Overall a great course.
Hot Day, Great Course
It was nearly 100 degress out, but my family and I still enjoyed a great round of golf at a great price. Although I played terribly due to a nasty hook off the tee, you can't beat the value at the Hot Deal price of $25. It is a well maintained course with nice greens and views. I only wish I played better to enjoy it more. The one negative was that there was a really slow group in front of us, and a really fast group behind us, so we felt cramped all day.
This is a very scenic course.
This is a course that you want to be hitting the ball straight off the tee. There is a lot of trouble on this course.
