Rebuilding
This is a fantastic golf course that faced a direct hit from a massive tornado in 2019. The team has done an impressive job restoring it, though there’s still some work left to do. I highly recommend this course, and with our continued support, it will only keep improving. I thoroughly enjoy playing here.
Could have been better
It was a good layout, but they were using temporary tees so to reseeding. The tees were not well marked and getting worn.
Solid Course
Solid course with multiple tee options. Now that I have played it once, I would have a better idea of where hazards are. Once they finish the renovations/repairs from the tornado, this will be a hidden gem!
The layout of the course is challenging. Every shot makes you think of the next shot after it. Placement is key on a lot of the holes. The long layout is fun and work in this courses favor.
There wasn’t a starter, so it made for slow play. We had a group jump us on the tee box and they slowed down our play considerably. At times, we were waiting on the tee box on a longer hole and they were even to the green yet when the group behind us caught us on the same hole. So we had 2 groups waiting to tee off and the group in front (two some) hadn’t made the green yet.
The staff was nice, he explained to us the changes going on which the course and clubhouse. Once the course is in better shape, it will be a great value course.
Good pace of play for the weekend
The course doesn’t have a finished club house yet. The course definitely could use better tee box markers. The pace of play was excellent and my wife and I had fun! A lot of greens are reachable in reg for her playing the forward tees.
Great course, great price!
Today was our second time playing here. The owners are so nice and we got to meet the mascot “graywolf” today. So cute! The course is difficult but fun. It is well taken care of and a great deal for the price. We will be back!
Enjoying this course
This course is coming back to life. Started playing here this year. Every time I play here I can see small improvements. Ownership should be proud of the progress they are making. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this place. Course is fun and challenging. Pace can be slow sometimes.
Great value, but tough
Played this course for the first time and it was challenging! Hole 18 made me say several curse words. The course was bare ground in several areas, I felt like I was playing in Arizona but that’s expected with the lack of rain. This place has potential and I hope they continue working on it. The club house looks like it will be nice! I would play here again.
They forgot to water
Good course if you want to work on your game if you plan on playing at a tin cup course in west Texas. Entire course is burnt out except for the greens which are sooo slow. Had fun though.
