Good deal
Nice for March. Some of the greens still coming back from last year. Beautiful course with all kinds of scenery between holes. Good challenge for any skill level. Staff super friendly and great deal on golf now.
Needs some maintenance work
Course layout is awesome, greens have some bad spots where they have burned up and needs someone with some greens knowledge to help them out. No one driving around with refreshments and no water coolers around the course. Carts paths need trimmed so carts don’t hit low branches. A lot of senior golfers must not play course because gold tees are only 10 yards difference from most of white tees, they need more help to be able to compete on this long course. Can be fun for them as well with a little thought of where to put their tee boxes, somewhere in between white and red! Beautiful course just needs a little help in how things need to be done to make it what it can be!!!
Coal Mining Golfer
This course has different options than the average course. Greatest course In the mountains. Every hole has a special option. Staff is great!
Decent at best
Not the greatest I’ve ever seen this course, greens are full of dirt and divots. Fairways were ok for April. $40 is way to expensive for This course. $20-$25 range is what it’s worth.
Interesting course
From the first hole par 3 and near island hole in the valley, to the mountain top holes as you finish, the design and layout is really interesting. Course favors a draw, which I am thankful for as my day lent itself to the “German ball”. Hope to return to play again soon!
Terrific Layout
Enjoyed the drive to the course through the KY mountains and enjoyed the unique layout and views throughout the course. Conditions could have been better and is the only thing holding it back.
Excellent course. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Beautiful scenery. Great value. Challenging and fun.

Beautiful golf course. I was pleasantly surprised by the very good condition of the course this time of year. The guy in the shop was very friendly.
Regional Tournament
Very sad that a golf course who has the honor of hosting a regional tournament cannot supply the families that attend this event with golf carts allowing them to follow their player . From our county alone we have grandparents, uncles, dads, stepdads who are older and and will have a difficult time maneuvering the course to watch their child. In addition, the heat will be a factor!
I would also think this would have been a great time to make money for the golf course... not to mention bring in tourism dollars to your county! I have known for two months that the regional tournament was going to be October 1. Maybe you could have borrowed carts from neighboring courses! Just a suggestion! Parents pay to follow their kids.. you really are missing out!
