lite traffic; arrived early and allowed to tee off a little early. course kept very well. Enjoyed playing with unknown well skilled golfer. Excellent day of golf.
Fall Golf
Concordia checks all the boxes. Affordability, playability and overall better than most, course conditioning is above average and consistent. The course is very player friendly, making for an enjoyable round that doesn’t leave you worn down.
Challenging
Challenging tight course. Greens can be tricky. Driving range is available. The back 9 is harder than the front nine. Cart girls available during peak days.
Excellent Value
Course is busy, but very well managed. Staff is excellent from the Proshop to the starters
Good food in the grill room and decent prices. No alcohol, but you can bring your own.
Course in good shape, it would help if the golfers would repair their ball marks and divots , but that seems to the case at every golf course these days. Not much the staff can do about individual golfers lack of respect for the game and the course itself.
4 hour round. Great place!!
Mr BruBru
Well the positives. Greens r Gorgeous all running the same. Fairways cut very nice. Tee boxes somewhat chewy. Unfortunately ball marks galore. No one can take 14 seconds to fix the greens or divots in the fairways!!!
Highly recommend it.
Bare minimum
Let me start off by saying I’m a golf lover. I travel at least 45+ mins multiple times a week to play golf. But man…
Good luck trying to find the entrance to get in the neighborhood, leave with enough time to spend 15 minutes looking for it. The gas stations around the course do not sell any alcohol. The golf course itself doesn’t have a liquor license- so they do not sell alcohol period. There’s no carts with snacks or drinks to drive around. The green conditions were extremely different. You’ll have a fast pace one green and slow on the next.
Got there 45 mins early and they did not have any carts available till 10 mins before our tee time. It’s a great place to take your in-laws who are Mormon, sober, or no fun.
I will say the sweet old ladies make a mean Philly cheesesteak sandwich, if you go get it. It’s worth the $12.
The neighborhood the course is in is a retirement community. My friend sliced a shot and it was still in bounds but close to a guys yard. We drive along the property line so he could hit his shot and the guy started yelling at my friend. I’ve played at hundreds of golf courses in neighborhoods and this was a first.
They did not space out the pace play well at all, we ended up waiting at almost every single hole for 10+ minutes.
For the price of $70 a person, it’s not worth it. Canbury golf course is 6.5 miles down the road and the conditions are rough, but much better price, pace, and amenities.
The staff inside are friendly and respectful- they just need the owners/management to step up and get the accommodations needed.
I will not be going back. Hope this helps!!
No delays at all playing round
Enjoyed the round very much. Course was in very good condition considering amount of play it gets. No waiting at all everyone was moving great.
Really short course
First time playing here in 8 years. The course is really short, especially the front 9. You could get away with never taking the driver out of the bag all day. Course is in decent shape, especially the greens. Some bunkers had crunchy sand and also rocks mixed in. New carts with black seats, extra hot in the sun.
Local golfer
Greens are in good shape. Fairways and tee boxes have a weed issue but it doesnt really hinder play. It is however odd from past years.
Local golfer
Course is always nice. Driving range and practice green well positioned at clubhouse. Staff is great! Course gets a lot of traffic and is usually in good shape. I did notice quite a bit of crab grass on tee boxes and on fairways.
Deadly accurate
I see this all the time, poor 4 sum in front of us, looking for their balls in the ponds and out of OB ,again and again . 4 45 hours to play. No Marshall to move them along .This is not the first time at this course
