Bardmoor Golf & Tennis Club

Was not informed online or before play that there were several areas on the course with grounds being repaired. These were sand traps in fairways and near some greens. Also there was one #16 fairway partial closed being repaired.

Greens and tee boxes were in very good condition. Greens were fast but did hold your ball played into them.

The course conditions are getting much better, but the pace of play is unbelievably slow. Waiting time is enough to enable you to peruse your favorite non golf activities, while totally taking you out of any rhythm you may have had. There are no rangers on this course, nor any expectations set for pace of play. If they could ever get the slow pace, which this course is known for, resolved, this course would be a regular stop for everyone. Otherwise, especially on the weekends, avoid this course unless you are ok with waiting on every shot.

My first time on Bardmoor and I would gladly play it everyday. Little bit of repairs on FW but that is to be expect this time of year. Greens and tee boxes were in fantastic condition. Easy type of course to play with lay out but does have good challenges on it.

Dealing with the initial and post requirements regarding the golf rental was an under wealming. I would expect 100% reservations to confirm having clubs to play with instead of hearing club reservations are not guaranteed. The fact that we were charged higher than the expected rate at time of booking and after communicating the higjer cost we were explicitly told by the pro shop staff offering a $20 credit per club set rental was an inconvience leaving a bad taste in the overall exçerience. He reluctantly did provide the credit. Met the GM after the round and wasvery pleasant.

The fairways were great, greens were VERY fast and the pace was slow but the weather was nice making a good 4.5 hour round…

I’ve played half dozen courses in the area. This was one of the better ones especially with a GolfNow rate course condition was good pace of play. A little slow as there was a high school tournament going on. I will be back.

First time playing. Definitely could have used some better signage as I found myself unsure of exactly where to go next. The GPS and mapping on the carts are pretty slick. Very cool feature. Greens were in great shape, rolled true and fast. Greenskeeper must have had a grudge on someone because of pin location was tough.

I really enjoyed this course. I feel like this is a great course. The tee boxes were in pretty good shape. Some better than others but overall, pretty good. The greens were in great shape, the rough around them was a bit patchy on some holes. The fairways we're in pretty decent shape. Had a couple of wet spots and some trouble areas but overall I would say 95% of The fairway was in good shape but had a little bit of hard pan here and there. The rough was tall and thick. We lost a couple of balls that just rolled through the fairways and definitely should have been findable. The pace was fast, it was my ideal round. We hardly saw anyone all day in front of us and only saw two singles come up behind us, and we let them through on the turn. I will definitely be back. I can see the potential this course would have under ideal conditions as it has a great layout.

Overall, I’ll play here again. The “Starting procedure” is a bit Disorganized. Cashier in the Pro Shop said “You’re good to go-start on 1or 10.” Having Never played here before, I was a bit Lost, but found my way (as a Single) & joined up with 3 others. Luckily, 1 of our group had played here before & helped guide us. Perhaps Grouping players Before the 1st tee would lessen the confusion. Some Tee areas were Rough, but most Greens were in Good shape.

5+ hour round of golf. two very slooow groups in front of us. Know one in front of them. up to four groups on the same hole.

Told ranger about situation and he said he would check on it. Never showed up. Setting where we last talk to him.

Wish they had put us over to other course as there was a tournament slowing everyone down.

They need a new superintendent, the course was in decent shape a year ago and it’s gone downhill since

Course was in great shape. The rough was a little thick, but fairways were great. It’s a tough layout,very challenging. Worth the money

First time playing here today. Course was in really nice shape. Fairways were perfect. Greens were very fast. Probably the best stocked pro shop I have been to. I let them know it was my first time there and everyone was helpful and friendly with directions to everything. Range was nice and fairly priced.

I thought it was great to have a snack shack at the first tee/turn and the dogs were great. Saw the drink cart several time throughout the round. A few of the tee boxes were rough, but most were really nice and flat.

GPS in the carts was spot on. I will be back.

The course was in pretty good shape with just a few tee boxes and parts of some fairways pretty messed up. All the greens were in great shape! I had the worst day in 3.5 years as far as my swing goes and this is not the course to have swing problems on, very challenging layout!!
