Gave it a try again, but there's a reason I don't play here.
Course was way overbooked. 5 foursomes on the tee box before my tee time. Didn't get off until 45 minutes after my scheduled spot. Everyone from the gentlemen in the proshop to the starter and the beverage cart employee did not seem like they were enjoying their time at work. We stopped after 9 holes since it took us nearly 3 hours after we went off the first tee. Good for them to be slammed on the weekends but there is a reason that I have not played golf at this place in 10 years. Nothing has changed. Do yourself a favor and travel the extra hour South, north or east if you want to play on a nicer course with a freindlier staff and get a round completed in a decent amount of time. Not worth the money during the peak season.
Over Priced
This is a mediocre FL track at best. The conditions were just a half step up from an muni. Carts have GPS but you will be bombarded with ads for clubhouse merch. There was no beverage cart, jugs of water on the course, no ice and water stations you find at most FL courses. Not worth the price I paid.
Slow Play
I have never seen it so bottled up I've coming to fla for 10 yrs seems like all the courses are overbooked 5 hr plus rounds are common very disturbing
Excellent place to play
Challenging holes, very good condition. Lots of golfers, though
Inexcusable
The golf course was completely overbooked. It took 5 1/2 hours to play 18 holes. We had two groups of five somes in front of us. At 2:30 PM the entire snack bar and drink cart system shut down. There was no water on the course for the golfers to drink. What a horrible golf course this has become. It was once a classic in the Tampa Bay area. Sorry to see what this has become since I last played it 30 years ago.
A crime to charge $95
I wouldn’t pay more than $45-50 to play here. Conditions overall were poor, many of the edges on the cups were damaged, no water in the water coolers, slow pace (around 5 hours), my cart had a taped up hole in the seat, had a fourth added to the group 3 holes in and then the starter drove out to ask us if there was a 2 in front of us though you would think he has that info as he is the starter. I wouldn’t go back at the prices they’re asking.
Nice course
Nice course and challenging but not too difficult for average golfers. Pace of play was average 4.5 hours for 3 average golfers. Conditions were nice. Prices drop after noon which make it better for cost otherwise a little pricey when there are other courses cheaper with nicer conditions.
Good time
Got paired up with a older couple and finished 40 min ahead of pace of play (tee time was first thing in a.m).. had a good with my son on a golfing trip from Michigan.. best course we played second time playing this course and will be back..
A $45-$50 course at best
$95 for a round here is insulting. Conditions are poor. Majority of the cups were damaged around the edges. No water in the water coolers. I wouldn’t pay more than $50 to play here again.
Tee times we’re backed up 2 hours. Only was able to play 9 holes due to poor timing by the starter.
Seems like they are hurting for money
Got the hot deal on GN.
Didn’t go thru the club house other then their restroom and pro shop. Restrooms where way out dated.
They pushed us out as a two some on a packed course.
Greens were rolling but they place the hole next to a dozen old holes that were either lifting or missing edges. I moved my ball many times to not putt over them. Fairways were ok
Bridges were in need of allot. Felt like they were out of money. Not my first time playing course, and I do like the course with those exceptions.
Fast greens
4 tough holes
Course is in good shape
Greens are very fast
Fun course , somewhat humbling
Bardmoor
I liked the course layout. Fairways were okay. Greens weren’t fast but in good condition and ran true.
Almost 6 hr round,
Course was ok, some interesting holes. Longest round ever, No Marshall on the course to move play fastet
