Nice layout slow pace of play
Layout was good, grass/grounds were a bit dry.. starter allow us out early only to crawl after 5 holes for groups of foursome not moving. Cart services for drinks was very helpful..
Needs TLC
Steph was very friendly, pace of play was fine, but the fairways and tea boxes are in poor condition/very little grass
Too many tee times piled on each other
Course is in great shape Problem with the place is they pack so many golfers in the course it’s a 6/7 hour round We played 6 holes in 2 hr 45 min Then got to 7 and there 6 carts backed up No Ranger coming around to help with speed of play They either need less tee times or the ranger has to do his job
One green has tree roots growing through it so needs to be fixed
Great track, poor organization
I had booked a 1:15 tee time on the GolfNow app. When checking in over an hour before the scheduled tee time - the pro shop handed me a slip for 1:30pm. After asking why it was pushed back they explained that’s what I booked, showing them the confirmation from GolfNow on my phone, the response I got was “sorry I can’t change what the computer tells me”, which is understandable. After the initial delay, there was another 15 minute back up on the first tee, as groups were slow to check in with the starter, who seemed to have no organization for which group was going off in what order, reassuring everyone “it’s a full tee sheet, but everyone will get out for their round”. After finishing the first hole, some 40+ minutes after the tee time I initially booked, up rolled a 2-some to tail us on the 2nd tee box.. confusion now settling in as the starter was adamant about the “full tee sheet”. Then after playing the 3rd hole, we came to find 3 groups waiting to tee off on a long par 4, with us being the 4th group now on hold, with only one group in the fairway. The traffic only persisted to build throughout the rest of the front 9, only to finally see the marshal on the 8th hole address the groups holding up play. With pace of play around the front approaching 3.5 hrs, I decided to ship it home as fear of the back would be no better. First time ever walking off a course mid round where I fully intended to play all 18. Shame on me for trying to play on a Sunday afternoon maybe.. but in no way was this experience worth the rate. If you can afford the inflated price, it’s best to bite the bullet and attempt to get a morning tee time if it isn’t already booked out. Course is in great shape, just needs better organization.
Nice Course but....
Nice course layout, with very friendly staff. However the course is in average condtion and really doesn’t warrant the current fees. Unfortunately the closing of so many courses locally, has led to unwarranted price increases around the area.
Embarrassing slow pace for wasting hot deal points
Front nine was near 2:45 pace. Groups ahead dropped out at nine but disrespected all by pace for front nine. Par 5 8th hole had a 20 minute delay and 6 groups on the hole. NO RANGER assistance present.
Pace of play
I understand that weekends are crowded, but the tee times are only 7 minutes apart and there was a multiple group backup on almost ever hole. At one point the person that I was playing with pointed out that there were 6 golf carts on an adjacent hole. No rangers ever going out to speed up pace of play
Slowest and crappiest round
The starter for this course should be fired immediately. My recent experience at this course was nothing short of unplayable. Despite arriving well ahead of my scheduled tee time, I was forced to wait nearly an hour due to blatant overbooking with a group of 20 that have a standing tee time of 8 am while I was teeing off at 8:15. This wasn’t just a minor delay—it disrupted the entire rhythm of the round. Every hole was bottlenecked, turning what should have been an enjoyable game into a tedious slog. It’s clear this course prioritizes packing in as many groups as possible over delivering a professional and respectful experience for its customers. If you value your time, your money, or even basic courtesy, do yourself a favor and play elsewhere. I will not be back, and I suggest others think twice before booking here.
Overcrowded Range....had to wait 10 minutes for a place.
Shortage of Power carts....had to wait 25 minutes before cart was available.
Overpriced
Zero bang for your buck! Paid 135$. Course is average and in average shape. I would pay 80 to play this course. The staff was very friendly and the pace was good.
Reluctant Pinellas county raised golfer
For somebody that was born here in Pinellas county I always thought Baltimore country club was higher end and a bit fancier.
I figured the amenities were more like a full-blown golf and country club and figured the course to be in much better shape.
For $103 and 5 hour and 15 minute round. Definitely won't be back anytime soon
