Fun Layout
The course layout was fun with various elevation changes, One of the course employee's explain the course was going through renovations, which explained the conditions of the fairways and greens. However, the greens were fast and rolling fairly true, even though their condition wasn't the best. I will definitely play this course again in the spring once the renovations are complete.

bad greens
This could be a really good golf course if it had nice greens . The greens where the worst I have ever seen in my life and I am pretty old .

Needs work
Stonecrest price was cheap enough however the course condition was poor.The fairways and greens had little to no grass. Greens were way to fast because of lack of grass. I don’t feel it demands a price of 35 to 40 dollars. . I would say it’s condition deserves a price of 20-25 dollars tops. Obviously there isn’t much course maintenance going on.

Course still needs a lot of work
If you can get a hot deal, take it and play. The layout is great, the greens will need some time to recover. I do see some improvement overall.

great layout
at this time, the course is in the process of being updated.
The greens need to be updated, and the bunkers re sanded. Once they get done fixing the greens and fairways, which will be soon, this is a great course.

The new owners are really working on the course but the greens need a lot of work.

Great Staff!
We played late on a Sunday afternoon. The course was in good condition and it looks like the current staff are trying to return it to the excellent condition I remember from years past. While waiting for my party to arrive I was given a small bucket of balls to hit which I thought was generous and after three of my party didn't show, the staff refunded the greens fees for the missing players! Very satisfied with all aspects of this experience!!

Excellent layout challenging
I thought the course challenged almost every shot. It has lots of bunkers, fairway and green side all in great shape. It has water on a number of holes. Greens need some work but not bad for this time of the year. Staff was very good to deal with. I will be back again. Price was decent.
