Stonecrest Golf Club

A fun track in a relaxed atmosphere. Greens are in good shape. The layout is excellent with variations and interesting holes.

I play an average 120 rounds a year and this is actually a very course nice layout however I’ve never played on worse greens. Fix the greens and you’ve got a great place.

Great course layout with some tremendous par 3’d over water. Value for money when compared with other local courses particularly when compared with the Villagrs courses which are over priced

Slow start because a twosome started on the back and made the turn on the front in front of us. Greens were great but fairways were lacking grass. Very hard pan if you ask me.

One of our carts broke down, they did retrieve us another fairly quickly. One of our foursome was hit by a ball by a twosome behind us……..

The fairways have no grass, compared to other courses the condition needs improvement.

Course in acceptable condition for time of year. Some fairways a little short of grass. Greens in reasonable condition - no complaints

Staff was super friendly and the course was in very good shape. The only knock i can give it was the pace of play was terrible. Our 2:08 tee time didnt tee off till 2:30 and it was a log jam after every hole. Dont know if its like this all the time but be perpared for a lot lf wait time in between shots

We’re an hours drive away but thought we would give stonecrest a try. It was worth every minute it took to get there. Was greeted by such friendly people in the pro shop. The course was in great condition pace of play, steady ( just over 4 hr) and stopped for a drink after. Perfect day. Already booked to go back again. 100% recommend

In just a few months they have improved the course by cleaning up the areas around the water hazards and the rough in other places. All around much better. Hopefully this coming spring will really green things up.

As always the staff was friendly and accommodating.

From our introduction to the CEO and partner, Linden Wilcock, until our departure after 27 holes of wonderful golf, I and my 2 playing companions enjoyed the professional and courteous reception we received. The course is being upgraded with overseeded greens and tee boxes for the winter season The course layout demands strategic tee shots, accurate iron play, and an acute understanding of reading Florida greens (i.e. direction of the grain) because of the their well-designed contours. It was quite windy the particular day we played which demanded correct club selection often because of the well-placed bunkers and forced carry over water. We thoroughly 👏 recommend trying the "Stonecrest" experience.

Course in good shape they are working on the greens so they are a little rough

Last year I said I would never play this course again. A friend said it has improved a lot and I should give it another try. She was right! There have been significant improvements in course maintenance which was the real issue in my mind. I really like the course design and challenge of the holes so I’m glad they are working on the course itself. It has a ways to go but they are making strides.
