Fun golf
Course is in excellent condition. Some tee boxes are being rebuilt. Back 9 hole are still some of the best to play. Always a fun day. Staff is always welcoming and attentive. My buddy and I play there regularly.
Great Course
I was in the area for a family reunion and decided to visit Dogwood Hills. I am glad that I did! This is a very nice course with some elevation changes and water comes into play on several holes. I would gladly play again the next time I am in the area!
Challenging greens
The greens were the toughest part. Rolled fast with many hills. I will play there again. Especially with a GN hot tee time
Great course!
It’s in GREAT shape right now, unlike many of the courses in our are right now that lost grass in the winter freeze. Always a fun track to play!
Fantastic layout
This is a hidden gym of course design. I really like the back 9 better than the front- but overall it’s a tale of two different 9’s. Be prepared with your own food (spartan clubhouse) and don’t expect a great range (there is one but it’s not cared for well and is on a slide slope).
The course is in solid condition and the layout is really interesting. Greens run pretty slow but fair. Generous fairways and the back tees make for some interesting decisions on a few holes.
We played for $40 each which is pretty incredible. Highly suggested.

Best course in area for the money! They always have course in good shape and the greens are nice!
Father's Day at Dogwood
Course looking a lot better than in May. Some fairways are still burnt but coming along nicely. Hopefully will be about perfect in a couple of weeks.
Best course, for the price, in the tri-state area!
Beautiful course, brand new high-tech carts, and some amazing staff. This will forever be my go to course!
Dogwood Hills - Flat Rock AL
Price = Great…
Course: Bunkers were inconsistent and needed to be cleaned and raked. Tee boxes need some TLC, scattered grass, several are just dead grass and dirt.This could be time of year, BUT!
Folks, this is a dry county, so if you prefer to drink alcohol, bring your own, the course only sells water, sports drinks and soda, if you’re into that?
Overall it was a challenging course, plenty of elevation, water and sand. I’ll definitely play it again, but wait until later in the year to see if the grass improves.
