Good Good Good
The course layout is a beautifully done masterpiece. The people are very nice an friendly an act like they are glad to have you there.Your attitude is appreciated. Lastly the price is affordable and one of the best deals in Alabama. R K
Good golf
Had an excellent playing experience at this good course. Course is challenging enough for any skill level with undulating greens and fairways. Staff could not be more welcoming. Fine place to work on your game and enjoy golf.
Slow Play
The course was in good shape! The foursome (plus a fifth just riding) in front of us were very slow, taking extra time to teach one of their guys the game and occasionally allowing him to hit an extra ball. We all have to learn how to play, but not when a twosome is waiting behind you on every hole.
Fun course
Good course for the price and the carts had gps which was really nice. Will play again
Course was Meh!
I'm not gonna say it was good but not terrible either - made it worse is the 5x booking on top of each other, each hole was a 20 min wait id recommend not wasting the $
Great course
Love the course. Golf shop staff are always friendly!
Fun course
This is a fun course to play and the condition of this course ranks with the more expensive courses I've played. Located just off of I-65 it's easy to get to.
Cross Creek
Great Course , play it and you will know how it got its name
Cross Creek Challenge
Cross Creek , a course with fast greens and plenty of challenging dodlegs and elevation changes, for the fact of having no sand traps it has everything else to offer from long water drive to having a creek crossing on virtually every fareway
A place to have a great time go and see if you can match up to the challenge Cross Creek is waiting
Excellent value, pace of play only issue
I've played Cross Creek many times, and typically know what to expect. It's an amazing value for a course that is in good shape as a whole. No bunkers, relatively thick patches of grass as a defense. Greens are always smooth; slow uphill, fast down. Lots of doglegs to the left, so if you play a draw you'll be happier than if you hit a fade. Fairways in good shape. There's a couple of holes out there (4 and 15) that it's very difficult to get a tee shot to land in the fairway- both holes could probably be gutted and redone and everyone would probably be a bit happier. It was pretty close to a 5 hour round yesterday, which can occasionally be the case at Cross Creek but it's difficult to complain about a course for $30 or so.
Cross Creek
Great course enjoyed it very much showed buddies how Golf Now and Golf Pass works I believe a couple of them will join shortly , thanks Golf Now it’s the best for any golfer wanting to golf more
Fun course, but terrible pace of play
This course is fun, staff are really friendly, greens are in good shape, most tee boxes are in good condition—and they move them around which is nice. The only negative is the pace of play. There are routinely groups of 5-6 (sometimes more) on weekends which ends up bottlenecking at some point, and turns it into 5 hour rounds at times, which has happened three of the last four times we’ve played here.
Challenging
The course was in generally good condition. The greens were a bit inconsistant with some being long and dlow and others fast. Several holes were stright uphill presenting some interesting club choices. We had to consult the map on the scorecard to find the next hole several times. If not for thst we would be truly lost. A good course however and one that we would play again.
Good Course for the Price
Staff was friendly and it was a good pace of play when I went. The greens and tee boxes were a bit “rough” and the layout of the course was confusing.
Overall, the course wasn’t bad for what I paid to play, but the course needs some TLC
