Not played
Booked on line was not told that back nine was closed when I booked & when I checked in probably would not have played .
Great value, but not in great shape right now.
Always one of the best values in the state, and still a very enjoyable round. But the course has definitely taken a turn for the worse in regards to condition. One fairway is mostly dirt, and the greens have a lot of brown dead looking spots. They still roll true and most fairways were in fairly good shape for having received a lot of overnight rain, but it's definitely not in as good of shape as it was this time last year. Still a great value round and is very enjoyable. The guy in the clubhouse came out and let us start on 10 rather than be behind 4 grounds lined up on 1, so the pace of play was actually fantastic. It took two of us 3.5 hours to play 18. If we had waited behind groups that had later tee times than us playing off of one before we teed off though, it would have probably been a much longer round. Great value, course could use some work, the layouts of holes 4 and 14 are pretty annoying, but overall, still a very enjoyable round of golf. Clubhouse staff is as friendly as you'll find.
Good track
Went up there to play with a few buddies that lived in Huntsville. We have been looking for a good spot in between Huntsville and Birmingham, and I believe this fits the bill. Good layout, very friendly staff, ok range, tee box conditions were good, fairway conditions were great, and the greens were a little slow. I would definitely recommend this place in a heart beat for the guys that are looking to meet up with buds and have some friendly competition.
Looks Beautiful
I’ve played this course before with a daughter who plays on her hs team. This course has gotten very pretty in the last couple months. Truly was amazed and really enjoyed the course. Definitely recommend.
Great Place. Great Value!
Got a 7:25a tee time for $20.99 on Golf Now. Got the round in, in 3 1/2 hours and had a blast.
Greens need work
Loved this course. Played here twice shot 87 both times. Course conditions overall were pretty good. Mainly the fairway on 4 needs work but you're not hitting that fairway anyways. 😂 All of the greens need some serious work. Your ball will bounce every single putt. The range is freaking excellent. First time we had to hit off mats but the next week we were able to hit off the grass. Overall this course was pretty great for the price. Just need to work on the greens and this could easily be a more expensive course.
Best Bang for Buck in Cullman
Played here for a while and it’s the best bang for your buck in Cullman. Greens are slowly filling in and looking nice. Very beginner friendly (no sand traps) and few large water hazards. Staff is always super friendly and nice.
Bang for buck
My buddy and I woke up wanting to play some golf, as broke (respectful) college students it’s quite hard affording most courses around the Birmingham area do for a $24 hit deal I’d say it was well worth my money.
This course was terrible. Stay away from it if you care anything about golf.
This course is horrible in every way. Staff allows 50 more people on the course then they should. We couldn’t tee off until 40 minutes after our tee time because they allow walk-ins whenever. It took us 2 hours to play 5 holes because we had to wait 20 minutes to tee off at every hole. We ended up just leaving cause not only was it over crowded but the pace of play was the worse than any other course that I have been to in my life. The greens were absolutely horrible. Only play this course if you want to waste 8 hours to play 9 holes. I’m not sure if there is new management or what because last year it was great. I will never be back.
Cross Creek
Course conditions were deplorable! No grass on tee boxes. Greens were terrible!
Cross Creek
Called the Pro Shop before we drove from Birmingham. The Pro said the course was in good shape. The course has some good holes but it is in terrible condition!! No grass on tee boxes or fairways. The greens are horrible.
Nice layout, I bet mid season it is beautiful
We enjoyed our round for early in the season, it was great to be able to golf being from Michigan. The staff was exceptional. Would recommend if you get a chance to play.
Best priced golf course in Alabama
For the price you cant beat it. Play here all the time and always enjoy it. Friendly and helpful staff. Just love going out there.
Good tract
Very good municipal course run by excellent people. Good driving hole challenges with interesting topography. Good enough for skilled players and beginners alike.
