Colonial Golf Course

Course is in great condition and tee boxes have had noticeable work recently.Had a traffic jam on back 9 for some reason, but only needed a 10 minute wait to get everyone back in sync. Players here are always friendly - had a great conversation with the guy I was paired with.

I was very pleased with this course, challenging and im glad I had a chance to play while visiting family. .im definitely playing the next time I come up.

I don't play this course very often, but it is in decent shape considering the amount of rain in the last few weeks. Grass coverage on the course is average. My only complaint is the greens seem to get smaller and smaller.

The staff here was the best ever. I really felt welcome. I played with a twosome that welcomed me to play. I had a great time.

.....greens had been aerated and sanded. Somewhat annoying, but it has to be done. Still rolled decent. The staff is very nice and the course is well maintained. This course is light years better than Fox Run, which is right down the road. Will definitely play again.

Really don't understand the reviews on here. I haven't played many courses in the area but the red stone arsenal course is much much better. The greens appear to have been cut maybe a week ago with no recent rain events. The pace of play is awful. The locals appear to treat it as a country club and show up and play in huge groups and do whatever the heck they want. If you aren't in the fairway you are likely hitting of some form of dirt. All holes run right along side each other and most holes are straight away and boring. I won't be back. I will take my money to red stone arsenal.

Seems like every time we play out there, there are groups of 5 & 6....which creates slow play. Can't get a rhythm going. Can be very frustrating. Rounds have lasted us 5 hrs.. We'd play there more often if it wasn't for poor course management. Come with patience!!!

The pace of play has always is horrible at this course, if it wasn't for it being a $12 hot deal I would have played somewhere else.

My first time playing Colonial Golf Course. The staff was friendly and helpful. The first tee was seriously backed up with 4-5 groups waiting. Some without tee times jumped in ahead of those that did, making it worse. A starter would have helped immensely. The course layout was good though tee to green lies were all "tight" due to grasses being still dormant. Greens were good but also early season unpredictable. It's a fun layout with lots of challenges. Go play!

The staff couldn't be any better. Very friendly atmosphere and great course. Pace contiues to be great, course is well kept up. Highly recomend.

Excellent greens for winter play. Lovely green fairways. Great experience.

Considering the weather for this time of the year, the fairway was in great shape as well as the greens, excellent price for the time of day ($10 at 12: 00 noon , highly recommend this course to other's!!!

Fun neighborhood course. Nothing fancy. Pretty layout.
