Challenging Pin Placements
A shorter course but the uneven lies, greens surrounded by bunkers, and strong breaking putts provide plenty of challenge for someone new to the course.
First time
We are from TX and while visiting our son and family, a friend came up from Georgia to visit his family. So we decided to meet half and play golf. He picked Hidden Valley GC, the course was in pretty good shape, greens were also but hard to get the speed right
Pace of play was horrible the front nine, because the foursome in front of a twosome that was in front of us, didn’t not let them go thru. At the turn they (foursome) stopped to get something and both the twosome and our foursome teed off before they got there. Then we played so much faster on the back nine. Wouldn’t t mind playing the course again sometime when we are up that way
as a beginner and at 59 years of age I personally find this course more challenging than some courses. My younger guy's like the course a lot.
Great course
Course was in great shape! Greens are a little slow but would definitely return!
Schuylkill County course to play
My first full 18 holes here. Played 9 last fall. Course was in excellent condition both times. Descent variety of great features for overall experience.
Great features
Course is awesome, in great shape, greens were fast when I played.
Overall good
Good experience except for pace of play.
Some golfers have no sense of courtesy when you have three groups waiting for you at the tee box.
Good Time
Course was not busy at all. Calling for rain that never came I guess kept people away. Course in great shape. Pace of play was a little slow but older golfers walking was to blame.
